There is a suppressive feedback loop for HGH similar to that for testosterone .

Because it does not take effect immediately and it does not last 24 hrs either. There is not recovery period. It will start back up right away since it's not really shut down 100%, only while it detects the higher levels of HGH in your system and that's only 12 hrs max.
