Firstly if you havn't had an X-ray, get one because I fractured by scaphoid in wrist about 12 months ago and had a screw inserted. This type of fracture was quite painful but as with many fractures of the wrist carpal bones a fracture can quite often be mistaken for a sprain and this would end up causing huge problems such as nerovascular deformity or basically the bone can die off due to the cut off of blood supply by the out of position bone.
If this is the case and an untreated fracture was left to heal its own way you very well might find yourself with a bone graft or wrist fusion!!
Not tryin to scare ya dude but ya never know......................

I fell and hurt my wrist about 8 weeks ago.. I thought it would be ok and heal itself but after 5 weeks is was still hurting and I couldnt put any pressure on it... I went to the docs and it turns out I have fractured my scaphoid... my bone graft operation is 2weeks from today!

I know what your going through mate as it has screwed my training up totally.. all im doing at the min is legs and cardio. after I have healed from my op the doc said my wrist will be stronger than it was in the first place...

take the advice bud, go see your doctor
