medial meniscus tear
I tore my medial meniscus wrestling in high school, not a bad tear, but enough to sideline me for a few weeks. Just recently it has begun bothering me again, i went to the doctor, he took xrays, and said that is it not bad enough to require surgery and just not to do allot of running on it. I am now in my junior year of college, and am required to run allot as a member of the military. I also hardly ever work out my legs because i am trying not to make it any worse. I have decided to do some competive body builidting and despritley need to improve my legs, any suggestions on exercises i can do that would be beneficial to my legs, but still keep my meniscus from getting any worse? Thanks

unfortunatley it doesnt sound like there is a whole lot to do with it.. sometimes menisci will repair themselves if its not too severe & there is adequate blood flow to it.. surgery & trimming of the frayed meniscus should be the last resort IMO
