how can be sure that it is not a arthritis pain?
Hi friend, yesterday I went to my dr. with severe back pain on my spine that goes under both shoulder blades. So he told me to do a xray. And after that he told me that he think I have arthritis in my upper back, But MRI which came back negative later. After the follow up on the MRI, the dr. told me that it is like a old injury pain, and nothing serious. But friends I am quite a scared on this issue. Can anyone tell me how can be sure that it is not a arthritis pain?

Hey Moonlight,
I have lower back arthiritis, the only thing I really can remember of the xray and mri was that the xrays show arthiritis as a cloudy white area..it was very obvious, at least to me. If your doc didn't see it, probably wasn't. but I'm no doc, just trying to put you at ease!
