Pro Tan, contest preperation?? HELP

I will be attending a costume party where I will be dressed as a stripper, not much at all. Anyway I wanna look my best so do you guys have any suggestions for getting ready for it. Im wondering If I should use Pro Tan since I am already pretty damn dark, I really dont wanna chance an adverse reaction or color though since I have never used it. Should I oil myself up with Pam before the party?? Or is there any kind of other "body makeup" or soemthing like what models use that I could use??? DO you guys have any other suggestions for looking my best going in? Thanks for any help.

I used a few coats of Pro Tan starting on Thursday night (Show was Saturday)... I think I did one Thursday night, 2-3 friday, and showered and did a fresh one Saturday. Showering doesn't really get rid of it especially multiple coats. You'll want to put it all over, including your ears and face or you'll look rediculous.

A light coat of pam, blotted to even out should work OK. Make sure the ProTan is dry before you do it.
