    Food Poisoning emergency!!!

Today is sunday 6pm and ever since like 3am friday morning i have been suffering from food posioning. Friday and saturday I was only able to eat some saltine crackers and drink like one bottle of water the enitere day. Today I have been better..but my appetitte is yet to be 100%. I know i have lost probbaly like 10 pounds...and it is soo frustrating to go back so far in so little time. Is most of my weight lost fluid weight? should i worry? should i bounce back pretty good?

You shouldn't loose too much quality muscle in that short of a period of time. Water, body fluids, and fat are body's favorite stores to draw from in a fight or flight response because they are more easily accessible. You should bounce back quick.

It sucks, I had food poisoning last week. I'm such a stubborn asshole that I even looked at the meat before I ate it and said "I know I'm going to get sick off this shit" and went for it.
Appetite will return within 2-5 days depending on how sever it was. I was craving oranges, fruits and juices while recovering, give it a shot.

I've been down with food poisoning since sunday night.

Don't worry about the weight lost... Worry about not trying to rush 'normal' eating too soon.

For 3-7 days after the diarrhea/vomiting passes you should be eating bland and easily digestible food.

I'm in the middle of my contest prep and so i trained tru it.

I was only able to eat one meal (5 boiled eggs smushed with blue cheese) on monday... two meals on tuesday (4 whole boiled eggs at both sittings)... one shake (1 scoop soy, and small amounts of: flax seeds, banana, lecithin, oats) and one meal (4 whole eggs) on Wednesday.

Today I'm just in from a heavy leg session (which is the session I've been fearing the most).

Before going to bed I will have gotten in 4 meals.

meal 1: 4 whole eggs + olive oil
meal 2: 4 whole eggs + olive oil
meal 3 (pwo): 1/2 lb shrimp (boiled, unflavored) + 1/2 lb boiled okras + 1/2 a medium onion
Meal 4: Same as meal 3

My stomach/intestines are still fucked up... So I'm not rushing it, as this'd cause a protracted recovery.
