razor burn

i was wondering what you guys like to use to help get rid of razor burn on the neck or whats the best thing to prevent it. thanks guys

I use a straight blade and have never had razor burn. One thing is to warm your face with a damp warm towel then when putting on the shaving cream let it sit on your face this will help strand the whiskers up. Also go with the grain and this means looking at the hair its self not just going straight down but following it straight and to the left etc.

I've switched to shaving with dove conditioner instead of shaving cream. I hardly ever get razor burn and girls love how soft it makes the skin.

I dont use shave cream or gel... I shave with lotion with aloe and vit e, just mix some hot water with it... it really works well.
