I'm not 100% if this is the Lat or one of the shoulder muscles(Teres Major or Minor), but I was doing deadlifts when coming up I felt a pulling sensation in my shoulder towards my lat. If I lift my arm up, as if to put on deodorant, the muscle in the back corner kind of near the top where my tricep comes in is very sore and a little swollen. Its pretty painful to attempt a rowing motion or any fast pushing(catching) movements.

I tried icing it down with a pack wrapping my shoulder like a pitcher would. Anyone have an idea on what the recovery time is on something like that? Stay away from upper body lifting for a couple weeks?
