Wrist hurts? hat do i do? LOL
hey guys, ive never really experienced injuries or pains so thought id ask here
im currently having alot of trouble with my right wrist
tends to REALLY hurt if i bend my hand forward and put pressure on it, and same goes for if i bend my hand back and put pressure on it
when it comes to gym, i cant train biceps becuase my wrist absolutly kills
also tends to happen when i do straight bar skull crushers, and clse grip bench press
alwise every other exercises i dont tend to have to many issues
in you opinion do you think its a sprained wrist? or something else?
any body have suggestions (aprt from rest and see a physio) on how i could make it heal quicker
rest is a last option coz im on cycle atm so im trying to train asmuch as possible, while avoid inuring myself

i've had the exact same problem before... i know, it sucks... i had an MRI and it showed chipped cartilage... the doc said i could have minor surgery, or just to to physical therapy... mine got better without either
first off u have to wrap your wrist tight... as tight as possible without cutting off circulation... unfortunatly you should lay off the exercises that hurt.. i didnt touch a dumbell until i felt better.... this is going to put a damper on your arms routing (expecially biceps) but your not going to heal unless you lay off it a little... try using machines instead.
hope it helps... it worked for me

I just recently had that problem I lightened my weight a lot. It was still hurting for about 2 weeks with much lighter weight. So I took a week and half off of all lifting and its fine now. Just give it some time to heal and rest and see how that works for you.

I had something similar happen to my wrist like 2 years ago, I wore one of those wrist brace things that kinda keeps you from bending it much foir about a week and it seemed to make it better alot faster

hey ranging1, i had forearm (tennis elbow pain) a while a go, i couldn't do biceps due to the pressure it puts on my forearm muscle. what i did is bypass that muscle and still did heavy biceps exercise, still using a cable machine. get ankle straps and strap it on your wrist, connect one cable on each strap and do your curls that way, believe me you will love it because 1. it will take the pressure off of your wrist. 2. you don't have to interrupt your workout while on cycle. good luck bro...
