running pain
Im 25, decent shape and health and have been running almost everyday lately because I am training for something that I just cannot afford to take time off and not train. My right leg has been sore for about two weeks now after i did some sprint running. and when i say sore i mean its sort of a dull aching throbbing pain, nothing like excruciating like a bad tare. At first i thought it was just a strained quad because the outside of my quad would ache durning running and after as well as the muscle right above my knee. My question is, i have been icing and stretching it and resting as much as possible but is there anything I can do or you can think of that will help make the pain stop? should i get a massage to try and help it? wear knee brace? is there anything I can take vitamin or supplement wise to help with the recovery? thanks

You are doing the right things. Sounds like you need to work on your IT band. A foam roller is good to use. Get a firm one. They are usually the black colored ones, not the white.
If there is an AIRROSTI in your area, do that. Search it online. I have used them for several injuries and the results are absolutely amazing. They take insurance if you have it.
Good luck. I am having knee issues. I go in for an MRI Monday. I have an event I will not miss next month so I will continue to train regardless of the outcome. My one hour cardio sessions aren't helping lol.
