DHT problems/fear of baldness/need Dutast

Hey guys, hopefully you can help me out. I have thinning hair on the left and right side of my scalp in the front. I'm sure you all know where I am talking about. I do not like my look bald or shaved head, so this is very important to me.

I am currently on cycle test E 500mg per week. I am going into week 3, and I know that I should start feeling it soon. I have cycled before, which is why I think I thinned out in the first place, and I want it to stop. I have been reading mixed reviews on DHT blockers on this forum, but the one I am thinking of is Liquid Dutast 30mL 0.5mg/mL. My question is, will this be ok to take while on cycle? Will I be ok long term? Will my gains be affected?

My dad is not bald, but has a bald spot on the back of his head where he is thinning. That makes me know that I do have to consider this. I am only 27, but like I said I'm still thinning. If I do take the dutast, how much do you take? Thanks guys

Why do you suppose you need dutast? Whats wrong with generic finasteride?

Dutasteride 0.5mg is more potent than finasteride 5mg. It inhibits both forms of 5-alpha reductase, while finasteride only inhibits one form.
