Colon Hydrotherapy
Has anyone ever tried this for the purpose of loosing weight on your lower abs or other reasons?
It's weird because my lower abs has fat but when you touch it, it's very soft (compared to another fat person it would be more hard. I don't know how to explain it). I'm cutting right now naturally and its going great but those lower abs... holy cow.
My friend who is a cardiologist said it was poop and recommended me to try this. But like I said he is a cardiologist.

yer kidding right?
many believe that sticking a hose up their butt and purging with fluid has a "theraputic" effect. The reality is, anything that comes out with the fluid today, would have come out on it's own tomorrow.
instead, consider psyllium husk fiber. you can buy a pound at Walmart for $9, and you take every day. it will clean you out like a whistle, and eliminates the "social" aspect of inserting tubes up your butt.....
.....unless that's something you like to do?
I remember watching Penn & Teller's "Bullshit" and they had an episode discussing this very thing. Quite funny actually

lol No, I was being serious.
Meh, I said I would always try something once, why not. I was just hoping someone else tried it and hear about their experience.
I watched a couple of seasons of ''Bullshit'' It was a great show. Would you remember what season it was from?

Agree with Times 100% along with everything he said about it you also run risks of stripping the colon and causing problems you never had before. Physillium husks are a much better degreaser than Coffee enemas and the like. ( these work a lot better than just water)
Also can't imagine any doctor saying that he thought you had shit in between your abdominal wall and your skin. I am pretty sure your fat is loose because its being softened as its being broken down as opposed to others whose fat is fully congealed into it wonderous form.Last edited by Far from massive; 04-12-2013 at 04:06 PM.

I had a colonoscopy a few years ago,and even though they didn't hose me out the stuff I had to drink made it look like a hose coming out. After a few hours in the bathroom there was nothing but clear liquid coming out. I maybe lost a pound but I would say most of that was water weight.

I found a groupon for a colon hydrotherapy session so tried it out to see what the fuss is about. I thought it was awesome, it was like taking 1 of those really enjoyable dumps...that lasted for 45mins. Felt a bit awkward at first, with the lady in the room for some of the time but I got over that pretty quick bcos I'm not that shy. Anyway, I reckon my stomach was only a tiny bit flatter after having it done, but that wouldn't have lasted long. Also didn't have a bowel movement for maybe 2 or 3 days after it and I'm usually 2 or 3 times a day. Personally don't think it's worth the money spent

It's definitely not worth the money spent. I did it once and it felt relaxing. But never again... there are better ways to detox, for sure.
