    I will have to give those (dumbbell upright rows) a try soon. I noticed that close grip bench presses seem to irritate the shoulders. Did those for the first time in a very long time and sure enough I had shoulder irritation that night but not as bad as it has been...

    Are you flaring your elbows or tucking them more at your sides?

    I keep them tucked in for the close grip bench press. I did regular flat bench presses today (even went up in weight and sets) with only minor shoulder issues which quickly subsided after the workout vs. the day I did the close grip benches which caused me issues for 3 days or so. Especially that first night! Didn't get much sleep. lol.
