Pulled trap
I have a crooked pelvis, which plays hell on my neck and my back. One leg is also a bit longer than the other, I think.
Anyway, my right trap seems to be taking its time to heal. I get a knot in it from work, sitting in a chair all day, inspecting stuff at eye level. I'm constantly holding my arms up. It irritates my traps to no end. It's not much more than a pulled muscle, but during my workouts over the past week, it aches. I'm still digging through every article here, and have much more to read, but thought I thought I'd share my aches and pains.
How often do you pull a muscle?
I usually "pull" something every other week, and it recovers in a few days--and solid again by the next week. My trap is the exception this time.

If you are pulling muscles every other week, it sounds to me like it might be a water consumption issue. Try drinking 1 gallon of water per day and tell me if that helps.

You shouldn't pull a muscle every week, see a Dr. for a urinalysis and some blood work, make sure there isn't an underlying issue. For the time being hydrate more.... leg length discrepancy is easily diagnosed as true LLD or imbalance, if its true you can use a small shoe insert to help fix the problem, if its imbalance certain exercises, deep tissue mobilizations can help fix the problem. As far as your work station look for an ergonomic specialist.... your work place should provide this if you are constantly getting injured. There are a number of strategies ergonomic specialist can't put in play to fix the work station issue.
