    Question Rear deltoid pain since last bench press

    So this pain came the next day after workout and has been here for 2 weeks now and some point last week i was getting weird shooting pain from the delt to the elbow as if it was a trapped nerve,if i press on the area it slightly hurts nothing to cry about but it feels as if its the lower region is where its at.I have Not used bench press since i noticed any ideas guys ?

    Delt to the elbow sounds like a nerve. Nerve glides, postural assessment, can help dx. Could also be rotator cuff because rotator cuff shares an embryonic origin, it referes pain to the deltoid tuberosity (mid humerus where deltoid inserts). Its hard to diagnose over the internet, but I always suggest seeking a sports medicine PT with good recommendations. They can find out if its nerve pain and give you some nerve glide exercises along with postural exercises that can help. They will also assess the neck because nerve pain, although may not be felt in the neck, can be primarly restricted from whatever vertebra the nerve is common out from
