Shoulder pain / popping / left bicep not sitting properly...
Hey guys I've been having this problem with my shoulder since 2011 but up until this past February it hasn't bothered me so much... First I'll give you a bit of background on it. I've been lifting for four years now and back in 2011 I was at MMA and we were practicing our bjj and while rolling with someone I was on their back and they put their shoulder into the mat hurling me over them and my shoulder took the whole impact. I went to my doctor and she said I had a "mild separation" didn't recommend anything, just diagnosed it lol she never helps me with shit, a good example is with my hormones which you can read up on my post in the HRT section. ANYWAYS a year later I was playing football for my highschool and on a blitz I got caught by a tight end before I could get to the ball carrier and the same shoulder took the impact, felt a bit of a pop but didn't bother me until a week later and I figured it was a bruise but it still popped when I put my arm overhead. The EXACT same incident happened the following year in football to the same shoulder except it felt like something was being pinched where the inside of my bicep attaches to my armpit if i have my arms extended at shoulder height beside me with palms facing up. Then a month later (December 2012) I was training in the gym for summer ball and our trainer had us doing plate pull overs on a bench idk why... anyways I was using a 45 and went down real low and it was as if my left shoulder had dislocated my teammates said it looked disgusting when it happened but I didn't want to drop the weight and bitch out of the exercise so I completed the pull over. On the way up the shoulder popped back in and felt AMAZING for the next couple of weeks. The problems returned once again... during summer ball (this past summer of 2013) I was doing a tip drill with the other linebackers and secondary, I was being a shit head and not taking the drill seriously so I jumped real high and for some stupid reason after I tipped the ball I ended up coming down and landing on that shoulder... -.- it hurt like hell. I had one of the coaches check it out and he said it's probably a stinger but I should go to my doctor to check it out... anyways I went to the doctor she didn't really diagnose anything or look at it, just told me to build more muscle around it lol... I was 187 lbs at the time and 6'2 and now i'm 6'2 215 lbs... anyways I'm done with sports as I am 20 years old and there's not much for my age around here, I'd rather compete in bodybuilding anyways... but I've noticed when I try to do the front double bi my left delt is very tense and feels like it's not flexible then in the joint there's a sharp pain and the bicep feels like it's being stretched when my arms are out straight at shoulder height, I feel a pulling all the way down to my wrist, and where the bicep meets the armpit is quite tender/painful. If I hold them straight long enough my whole arm / shoulder gets a very warm sensation. Also, when my arm is brought above shoulder height in a shoulder press movement my shoulder pops every time however it won't pop if I'm actually doing a shoulder press with weight. My delt doesn't appear to be as round as my right delt when relaxed and my left bicep is not developing nearly as much as my right bicep, shape is different and doesn't even completely flex, then my left arm sits differently than the right, it almost sticks out and turns inwards with a slight bend in the elbow... I'm not lacking any strength though which is odd and I'm not in pain when lifting. Anyways thanks for taking the time to read that! I look forward to your responses

You need to work on shoulder stabilizers statically and dynamically over time. The 4 rotator cuff muscles hold the head of the humerus in place, some people are more susceptible to shoulder dislocations because of anatomical structures. Pain shooting down from your shoulder to elbow makes me think or nerve pain, or thoracic outlet syndrome.
The difference of the shoulder popping with or without weight is the difference between closed and open kinetic chain movements and different muscles are activated even though the motion is the same.
Primary care doctors don't generally have a lot of experience with musculoskeletal injuries and imbalances, seek a Physical therapist or a physiatrist or orthopedic Dr. so you can fix this issue before it becomes even more limiting as you age. I'd start with PT or a good strength coach to get the basic shoulder stabilizer exercises and go from there
