subdeltoid bursitis and AC inflammation
Been having shoulder pain and recently had an ultrasound to find I have subdeltoid bursitis and inflammation around my ac joint.
Ive had a cortisone injection and it has helped a little but not alot. I really wanna get back to gym. Ive gone twice this week and still have some mild pain when lifting
I also have some undiagnosed grinding and clicking on both shoulders, does anyone know what this might be?
Also whats the best thing I can do to help speed up my recovery? Like supps or physio exercises and stretches ect
If anyone could give me some information that might help that would be amazing. . . Thanks in advance

Grinding and clicking, especially when painful, can be a very bad sign. Those are symptoms commonly seen with labral tears.
Talk to your doctor about having an MRI with arthrogram. It's the most reliable way to diagnose a labral tear. It would also be a good idea to see a shoulder specialist about your issues, as most general orthos aren't well versed in the details of shoulder injuries.

Cant thank you enough for your reply mate. I googled it and it all makes sense. . . Might start supping msm glucosamine chondroitin and start smashing fishies again. Go do some rotator exercises and focus on some of the muscles around my scapula. If all else fails there is always surgery but that will be a last resort, thats if I do have laberal tears. But giving what I just red im pretty convinced.

If you do end up having labral tears, you're doing the right thing trying to rehab them conservatively before jumping to surgery. If the tears are reasonably small, dedication to physical therapy can certainly help, but it takes time and there are no guarantees of relief.
Labral tears will never actually heal without surgery, but PT can attempt to strengthen the surrounding tissues and relieve symptoms. Some people have success with this, others aren't so lucky and end up having surgery anyway.
The dagger is that heavy lifting, especially overhead, is awful for these types of injuries. It's very likely that they will become worse over time.

Agree with all the advice given so far. I had the same thing for a few years and it did get worse, especially during one cycle lifting to heavy. Ended up having surgery 2 years ago. It's a SLOW go on recovery.
I would take it VERY easy for quite a while. I mean a couple months, not just weeks. Make sure it's healed and dont re injury it. You might also want to look into TB500. It has helped a lot of people here before and after shoulder injury's and surgery. I keep meaning to get more...
