Cryotherapy for recovery?
Just curious to know if anyone has ever tried Cryotherapy for Sport recovery? Seems like a lot of pro athletes are using it but still haven't seen it available to the public.

I'm sure there are some anti inflammatory benefits. As the acronym goes RICE (rest, ice, compression, elevation) However one cannot also discount the possible placebo effect.
There is recent research that indicates that ice baths may reduce long term gains.

IMO if you sum up the cost and benefit I dont really see any real advantage.

Totally agree with you on the cost v benefits. I guess in the case of Pro Athletes, cost is not really an issue
