I made an appointment for Cool Sculpting
I had a consultation today for Cool Sculpting. It's a procedure that freezes fat cells and destroys them and your body will expose of the dead cells over a 3 month period. I have stubborn fat in my love handles and no matter how much I diet down it just drives me crazy. I had a consult for Vaser Lipo but it's too invasive so I found out about Cool Sculpting and made an appointment. She said I can expect to see about a 25-40% improvement after 3 months. My appointment is scheduled on Jan 11th. I will take photos and upload the before and after at the 3 month mark.

I'm excited about the process to be totally honest. This coupled with HGH and a cutting cycle this summer I'm going to be RIPPED!!!! I always have fat in my obliques even when I'm really lean and it's always driven me crazy. The Vaser Lipo surgery was $3700 and it would be a better end result. However, I would be out of the gym for 3-6 weeks and the recovery esp. over the first 4-5 days would suck. The Vaser Lipo though was for the obliques and lower abs as well. If the results of this are good I may go back for the lower abs.

I wanted to update this thread. My appointment is tomorrow. She said that because I'm already quite lean it would be better to put on some fat so I did a bit. I will take pictures tonight but I'm not going to post for about 2-3 months to see the difference back to back. I will report back tomorrow with how the appointment goes. Hopefully its not a waste of $1500 but if that fat cells are gone forever then it's totally worth it in my opinion.

She said when the fat cells are larger they are easier to destroy. I didn't put much fat on as I'm still fairly lean. I am doing a bulk so I expect to put some fat on anyways so timing is good. I've heard various stories that it hurts like a MoFo and others say it's just uncomfortable. I've read stories that people couldn't go to the gym for weeks but most say they could go the same day. I'm actually bringing my workout gear with me in case I'm good enough to train right after.

So I'm here now getting the procedure done. It doesn't hurt at all and just feels like some tugging. The area went numb within a few minutes so I can't even feel the coldness. I'm hoping to be able to hit the gym after this appointment but time will tell.

One side is complete and we just started on the other. They have to massage the area after the procedure and that didn't feel to good. So far the second side has a stinging or burning sensation which is uncomfortable for sure. Not sure if it will go numb like the other side did

The burning sensation went away and it's now completely numb. I didn't take video as it's not very exciting. You sit in a bed with a giant auction machine on your side. You don't do anything at all. Haha. Easiest way to a six pack ever. Lmao. If the results are good I may do my lower abs as well

I went to the gym directly after the appointment and had a killer workout. Feels a little weird now in the treated area. It's mostly numb to the touch and def. tender. No bruising as of yet but I'm sure I will esp. on the right side. They took before pictures and I have to go back in April for the after pics and a follow up. Excited to see how things change.

Just to update, it's the following day after the procedure. No pain or bruising. The area treated is a bit red and feels odd to the touch. Kind of feels like I have strips of duct tape on both of my obliques. They are tender to the touch but don't hurt at all. A light touch and the area is somewhat numb. Kind of a weird feeling to be totally honest but not any discomfort.

Not sure if anyone is even reading this but I will keep it updated in case someone in the future is thinking of going this route. Today is 2 days post procedure and it def. feels worse than yesterday. To the touch it just feel weird. Kind of numb but sore to to the touch if that makes sense. The feeling and sensation in that area is def. impacted. It's fairly sore too but not enough to keep me out of the gym. I don't have any bruising and I haven't told ANYONE that I did this procedure. Not even my wife. She has no idea and she's seen me with my shirt off since and hasn't noticed anything different. I just hope it works.

Following too, as I have seen cheap versions of this in the UK.
I think there was a thread on this a few years ago that had mixed reviews.
Really looking forward to seeing your results. If you arent already, will you track your diet between now and then too? A lot can change in 3 months with just diet.

Interesting indeed.Reading, so this actually kills fat cells not shrinks them like dieting and calorie deficit.
Looking forward to the results.

I'm 5 days post procedure and I've been to the gym every single day since the appointment including going directly after the appointment. The area is starting to feel completely normal again which is a plus. Not expecting any results as of yet. They say around 2 weeks you might start seeing some results but at the 8 week mark is when it's most noticeable. I've had absolutely ZERO DOWN TIME with this procedure so if it works I will def. recommend it. I might have to send my wife in for a lower ab freeze. haha

I'm exactly 1 week post procedure and things have been great. The area is still numb to the touch but zero pain or bruising. It looks like it's def. working but I'm also leaning out quite a bit all over so it's prob. a combination of both.

I'm a week and a half post procedure and so far I'm really happy. It's still a little tender to the touch but never had any discomfort of any sort. The area already is shrinking. I am on HGH though and that is going to screw the results as I'm starting to lean out everywhere. However, my obliques no matter how lean I get still carry fat. You can see it in my avatar pic. I'm wondering if the fact that I workout 6-7 days per week is causing the dead fat cells to be expelled faster than most because I'm guessing most people that do this procedure are mostly lazy.
