Micro needling trial
I'm doing a 4 week trial of micro needling only the left half of my abdomen. I'll use serum and moisturizer on entire abdomen. I want to see if the micro needling makes a difference. I'll post before and after pics if there's interest.
I'll be using Eva Naturals peptide complex serum and Oz Naturals Super youth retinol moisterizer twice daily. I'll be micro needling with a 1mm derma roller twice weekly. On micro needling days the needling is done at night after serum but before moisturizer.

After 4 weeks there is no visible difference between R and L sides of my abdomen. Micro needling didn't seem to do anything.

Use vit C everyday that you mix from powder form. Vit C power with water every 21 days.
What depth needle is being used? I use .5 most days but once a week 1.5 mm.
Here’s a great resource.

I micro needle my face, neck, décolletage and hands to regenerate collagen. I shared the link to a website with lots of info and some products which are relatively inexpensive and effective.
My goal is youthful skin and I am very happy with results. Some ppl use for cellulite, scars. I would think could help for loose skin but not sure.

My doctor told me 4 weeks for visible improvement per clinical studies.
Idk... 3 or 4 months for visible improvement??? Not sure it's worth it given no guarantees it'll help with loose skin. I should note I'm 50 years old, menopausal (and that affects skin elasticity!), and carried 20-30 pounds extra weight for years (including a pregnancy 15 years ago that had me 60# heavier than I am now). I'm thinking a tummy tuck might be my only optionLast edited by PeanutbutterDC; 06-18-2018 at 12:56 AM.

RF: I remember reading another member saying that it wasn't permanent.

That is correct. Three treatments will get you the best results and it will last about 3 months. NOTE: my skin does tighten a little more each year, but I think it is due to the AAS and the ab exercises. As the muscle gets bigger, the loose skin goes away. Obviously you do not want huge ab muscles.

Those of you doing micro-needling, do you own a device and do it at home? Any tips or suggestions?

What about around the eyes and nose? And, isn't there a micro-needling technique that uses a bunch of needles inside of a pen like device, how does Derma rolling micro-needling differ?

Has anyone tried doing it with TB 500?

Sorry for all the posts but I found this pub med about micro-needling and thought it might help inform others. If anyone cares to share more of their personal experiences, it'd be great.
Thanks

I thought someone asked for skin care routine. Sorry it’s been a long time for reply.

I especially love the copper peptide mask. It feels like an expensive salon treatment. ❤️
