My Cutting Cycle~Female.
hey.
i am one week into my anavar cycle now.
I started at 5/day, but changed to 10 because i have gel caps from an ugl.. and splitting it into 4ths was such a pain.
a gf of mine started on more than this with the same product and was fine, i figured 10/day is minimal.
anyways. so far nothing bad.
i feel a little firmer already, but i also feel tight. like i have to stretch all the time. especially around the back of my knees, but that could also be from training or the weather changes? lol.
i also feel bigger/fuller. almost fatter. haha. this cold be bloating/water retention from the var, but u arent supposed to retain on var. so it is either my diet, or pms.
i noticed i get a very mild stomache ache at night if i dont take it at the exact 12hr interval, which could be unrelated.
Im starting clen next week.

reason:figure comp june 2nd. want to get to 10%
diet. approx 45p-35c-20f 1200-1600calories (for now)
6day split.

feel free to add some constructive criticism to my physique.
my goal is to be lean, conditioned looking, "proportionate"; for a novice figure competition. 10weeks away!!
im thinking my bottom half is not as muscular as the top?

Var should make you feel harder and tighter, and there shouldnt really be any water retention. Not great for mass, and the feeling fatter thing is probably in your head or a diet issue. As for the knee thing....it could most definately be a weather issue...i notice when it gets cold from a change in weather that my knees feel a lot worse.

yeah it could be a diet issue, which is wierd because im eating better this month than last, i should be losing little by little with the calories i am eating. and eating clean.
i just weighted myself and i am 118!! i was 113 a week and a half ago!! wtf??
im going to have to start putting in more cardio then. or get my bf% done, and make sure im not actually gaining fat.
and i know anavar isnt about gains, which is one of the reasons i didnt mine taking it. it could be natural muscle gains partially as well. genetically i build easy. but 5lbs in a cpl weeks is a lil crazy.
btw i just got back from the gym and have the craziest pump ive ever experienced! my strength is already going up as well.Last edited by some_gurl; 03-19-2007 at 11:41 PM.

cool log....the feeling tight thing could be the weather...if your living somewhere cold going in the sauna for 5-10 mins before your workout and stretching could help warm up your muscles and loosen them...
but good luck! and keep up the updates with your weight/cardio issue

i started taking some glucosimine and MSM pills, and it has really helped already.
my weight is slowly going down again. I have a feeling it was mostly water weight, non var related.
im still loving the hardness of my bod tho. its almost like a perma-pump. haha.
i have a grappling match next weekend, we'll see if it affects me at all. good/bad. i hope it wont effect my gas, itd suck to get gassed out easier. any thoughts?

can anyone guess my bf%?

ur bf looks low, what % i couldnt even guess as percentages on men and women look very different. u r looking good keep at it, we'll be following ur progress!

the nasuea is pretty common from what ive read of sides...
headaches can sometimes come from being under hydrated...
maybe do some searching around the site for some remedies to these problems...
did they hinder your training in anyway?

i read before that these were common sides for some, its probably also because i only did 5 for a cpl days than bumped it up to 10 right away.
there isnt really any remedies. i just tried some typical home remedies.. asprin, carbonated water, tea. it helped a little. i was better today.
i didnt feel as strong today tho, but that could be because i tried some hard super-set training for the first time ever and didnt know how i normally would have reacted to those sets.
yesterday the headaches were bad during training, i had to go a little slow as id get dizzy easy, the nausea started when i got home so i just relaxed.
i did read that sides usually subside and dont stay during the whole cycle, so hopefully i wont get these often.its not bad enough to stop the cycle at all tho. im really liking it so far.
i def need to drink more water tho.
also, is it bad if i dont take milk thistle??
i bought a detox tea instead that you drink every day that has lots of herbs and is supposed to clean out your liver and lymph nodes. but im not starting it till next week and you only use it a few weeks at a time.

people are noticing change in the gym already, saying i looked ripped and starting to see more definition (that also has alot to do with macros). some dude asked me if i was on var last week, but that was only after i was on it for 2 days, haha. i thought that was funny tho.Last edited by some_gurl; 03-21-2007 at 12:17 AM.

I'm on day 21 of var and it has made be very vascular, it is kind of weird, I see veins I never saw before. You look very toned as it is, so I think the var will make it even better.

I think you will do fine, var isn't that much of a liverkiller at low doses (which your dosage is compared to what men have to take,lol)
I usually feel a bit weaker the week before stuff really kicking in.
From what i've seen var rocks on women, keep us posted with picture updates.

So I started Clen a cpl days ago. Its not bad, but my doses are pretty small right now. im just doing a test period of it for a week to see how my body reacts with it and the var. Im trying to line up time off and time on to fit in with my contests schedule. do u think it is pointless just doing it for a week the first time around, then 2 the next ones?
Well anyways. I just feel like I drank alot of coffee, and the feeling kind of comes and goes. my hands get shaky often which is normal with clen. no bad headaches. very sml cramping one day..but uped the taurine and it is better.
Ill write more after the weekend and post some pics.
im still loving the var.

well i stopped taking clen already. i may try it again as i dont know if this stomach upset is due to it, a flu bug, or something i ate.
ive had brutal stomack aching/cramping that started yesterday morning. i vomitted probably 5 times yesterday. i made it up to 80mcg on friday. i awoke with the stomache aching(saturday), and didnt take any more.
today no nasuea or vomitting but mild cramping. havent ate anything barely the last cpl days as it hurt my stomach more.
you think its related?

I hate clen , it destroys my appitite and causes me to have anxiety problems. It's not for everyone.

you could use a little more definition in your thighs.
i think your upper body looks bigger cause your leaner up top.
what are you doing for legs?
you look good you just need to work on those thighs.
BTW i wouldnt have went so high with the clen . JMO

i agree on the thighs. it bulges in that one spot, but there is also muscle right there than it stops. how can i create a longer muscle look on my inner thighs? im hoping this will start to look better as i lean up more.
next time on clen i will work up slower. try it again after the weekend. im kinda scared tho. because the last one but a hinder in my routine.

definatly looking good, yea if you start the clen just start lower and build yourself up and about the milk thistle i would take some just to keep your liver healthy the detox tea wont do that great of a job very low dose of everything

geesh my poses suck. how do you do a good back?
well as you can see there is some change. mainly in abs and legs? I think i would of had even more of a progression if it wasnt for my set back this past week or so in weights. i havent been lifting near as much. but will be very very soon.

i also checked my bf% with the handheld, i know they suck and arent very accurate but it is better than nothing. it read 12.9 then 13.2. so i guess around 13? i really dont think im that low though. but if so thats pretty cool.Last edited by some_gurl; 04-05-2007 at 07:57 PM.

gotta love the UFC on the tv. in the background... how was your grappling tourny? i do mma and have done a cycle of var... but wanted to know if it affected your stamina for bjj

You're making good progress - definitely see some nice shape in your legs. Work them hard as shit - assume they won't come in as tight as you want and work the mutha**** out of them. Its the hardest part for a newbie to deal w/ because of the natural estrogen-tendency to ***osit fat in the thighs and there is no history of conditioning to get it down to "competition quality" - I'm absolutely not blasting you - I'm telling you what is probably the most common issue for newbie competitors. Keep going as you are w/ getting the shape - you have long muscles so they will look really good - just continue workign on getting them thicker & more mature muscled. Always continue working on that to grow a good sweep and horseshoe.
Two telling signs of "sufficiently conditioned" is no lines on the butt side and a good quad tie-in on the front coupled w/ a clearly defined quad shape on the leg and tight where at the tie-in. Its just very easy to have that thigh fat there and if its conditioned down to nothing you are golden. But as I said -that's conditioning your body to go against what is its natural tendency.
Your upper body is coming in nicely but you really want to build up more cappign in your delts. That takes to grow as well but for posing - your front shot I would make your shoulders feel like the widest part fo the pose - not your elbows. I.e. when you do the pose - feel like there are two puppet strings attached to the outer point of both shoulders that are being pulled up & to the sides. Then let your amrs hang naturally down from there. Don't make your elbows the pulling point - that just creates an "O" shape instead of a "Y" shape that further makes your shoulders look smaller than they should be. They will cap out some when you diet way down but definitely work on getting more rounding on the delt as you go forward.hard work = hard bod
