    First timer- Test E Log

    Today I decided was the day to cross over. I am running 400mg of Test E/week. Today was my first shot. I started with a 400mg shot and from here on out I will do a 200mg shot every Monday and Thursday. Right now I only have 25g 5/8" needles, so I shot into my delt. My test is 300mg/ml. It seems pretty thick. I was pretty much a pain to draw out. I must have shitty needles. I had my wife shoot it in because I had gotten some of the oil on my fingers and it was awkward. She said it was real hard to push in. There must have been a lot of resistance because some of the oil started coming out where the needle connects to the syringe. I have 23gx1.5" on the way. I plan on doing the rest of them in my quads. The shot felt fine. I got a slight rush, most likely because I was excited and a bit nervous of the whole new experience. I shoulder ached just a bit for awhile. A big drizzle of blood flowed downed my arm when I pulled the needle out. I've read about this before. I figured I had passed through a small vein on the way down into the muscle. This is my planned PCT:

    Clomid - day 1 300mg, day2-11 100mg, day 11-21 50mg
    nolva - 20mg/day for 3 weeks.

    These are my current stats:
    -Age - 22
    -Weight - 206(weighed today)
    -Height - 5'10
    -BF - Im guessing around 10-12%??
    -Cycle experience - This is my first time juicing. I've done some "Prohormones" a couple times in the past. Whatever the hardest thing I could find on the market was. I've been really, really into supplements.
    -Lifting experience - Started experimenting about late 8th grade, then got serious in high school, so about 8 years. I've spent the last 4 years in the military, so lifting and gains have been up and down from deployments and training.

    These are the most current big lifts I have been putting up as a reference(I usually don't go heavier than 6 reps, so I'll list the heaviest I've gone as of lately):

    Bench
    Barbell flat: 315x5
    barbell incline: 275x6
    DB flat: 120x10
    barbell military: 205x8
    DB military: 90x10
    deadlift: 405x6
    Squat(stopped about 3 weeks on orders from physical therapist for my lower back): 405x4-6 (best used to be 10-12)
    Hip sled:920x8 (8 plates per side, assuming the machine bare is 200lbs)
    Pulldown-230x6-8
    barbell bent over rows: 275x6-8

    My diet will probably stay about what it has been.
    Breakfast: 2 whole eggs, 4-5 egg whites, 2 slices wheat bread or oatmeal.
    Pre-lunch: 40-50g protein shake
    Lunch: 2 chicken breast with 1-2 servings brown rice.
    Later afternoon: 1 chicken breast, maybe 1 serving brown rice
    Pre-workout: 40g protein shake
    Post-Workout: 40-50g protein shake and depending how late it is, eat either chicken or steak. May or may not have simple carbs.

    Current workout- I change the order of my exercises everytime i come back around to any muscle group again. Example: first time doing chest, I'll do flat barbell, db incline, barbell or machine flat. Next week on chest again, I'll start barbell incline, db flat, then maybe db incline. I'll always do 3 compound movements, then 1-2 finishing iso movements. Like some kind of flies. I pretty much do this will all muscle groups to keep it changing.
    monday- chest/abs/ run
    Tuesday- back/bis/abs
    wednesday- legs/run
    thursday- shoulders
    Friday- Arms/abs/run(I hit bi's twice, they are slow growers)

    I change this a bit once in awhile. Sometimes ill add a day off before legs, or start the cycle over on sunday after 2 days off.

    This is going to be my planned ON cycle routine if i can stick to it.

    day 1-AM: chest PM: back
    day 2- AM: shoulders PM: arms
    day 3- Legs
    day 4 - off
    day5-7 - repeat days 1-3

    Sorry I posted so much info. I'm excited to start, and i wanted to throw out as much as possible for any more experienced guys to critique, comment, or help me. I hope i'm not forgetting anything. I put some pic in here of me today after i came back from the gym, so I have a bit of a pump going. I'll do another post right now with some leg pics and my first workout tonight.

    This was my first workout tonight...


    CHEST:

    Barbell Incline: Warm-up: 135, 135,185
    Working: 245x10(could of went 12)275x6, 295x3, stripped directly to 225 for a set of 8

    DB flat: 100x12, 105x10,105x10,(long break. Trapped into a conversation) 120x10

    Machine incline: Didn't keep track of weight. It was a weird machine. No hammer strength around. did 3x 8-12

    Machine fly's: 2 set 1 armx12, 2 arms set of 10.

    ABS: standing side crunch w/db.3 sets of 75x20-25
    cable wood choppers. 3 sets of 15-20
    Incline bench torso twist w/ 30lbs DB. 2 sets of 20

    RUNNING- sprints. 100m,200m,300m,400m,300m,100m

    This morning got up early, started with 50g protein shake, and my last scoop and a half of Nano Vapor.


    This Morning's workout:
    BACK

    barbell bent over rows(overhand grip): Warm up: 135,185
    Working: 205x12, 235x12, 275x8
    Straight bar cable rows(underhand grip): 200x12, 210x12, 220x10,220x10
    Wide grip cable rows: 170x12, 180x12 200x10, 210x10
    Front pulldowns w/ straight bar that has the grips on the side?: 180x12, 180x12, 200x9(fore arms couldn't hold out)

    Post workout I will have 3 tabs of NO2 Black while i cook 2 whole eggs, 4 egg whites, 40g protein shake, 2 pieces of wheat toast. Followed by multi pro 32x multi vitamin, fish oil pill, vitamin b12 pill. Then maybe nap for an hour before doctor's appt.

    Also feel slight soreness in shoulder at injection site. Barely noticeable.

    keep us posted. You are jacked already and have a great base. I wish I weighed 205! Im 5'10" too, i just weighed myself at 180.

    Do you compete? Or is this for personal benefit?

    Also I like 1in 20 gauge for shooting in the glutes. can't even feel it.

    Thanks fellas. No, I don't compete. I just really love getting big, while being strong, quick and athletic. It would be awesome to someday give competition a try.

    I just woke up from a nap and I have noticed the soreness in my shoulder is a little more pronounced. There is no redness. It is not really tender to the touch. It gets most sore when i flex my shoulder. My shoulder is noticeably swollen. My wife thinks its huge. I don't think its really THAT swollen. Either way, this is starting to worry me. I put a couple pics of what it looks like. I injected yesterday into my left middle head delt, monday, afternoon around 2-3pm. Today, Tuesday, now 830pm, is what it currently looks like. Wondering if this is ok, or if it is something that might be a problem

    I have a rough outline of what my diet has been, and will probably be similar to while on my cycle, up there at the top. Sorry all my info up there is jammed together and unorganized. Anyways, this is what I got.

    My diet will probably stay about what it has been.
    Breakfast: 2 whole eggs, 4-5 egg whites, 2 slices wheat bread or oatmeal.
    Pre-lunch: 40-50g protein shake
    Lunch: 2 chicken breast with 1-2 servings brown rice.
    Later afternoon: 1 chicken breast, maybe 1 serving brown rice
    Pre-workout: 40g protein shake
    Post-Workout: 40-50g protein shake and depending how late it is, eat either chicken or steak. May or may not have simple carbs.

    Also, do you have any suggestion on what my swollen area might be? Is that common or just plain bad?

    are you using clean loader needles every time for drawing?

    new needle and syringe? cleaning the injection site before hand? cleaning the stopper/top of the bottle before piercing thru with your needle to draw?

    any puss/discharge?

    Few things, first of all you have a great base as already stated so you should get lots for a cycle like that. The juice was hard to draw because you are using a 25G pin, thats fvcked, you need to draw it with an 18G or 19G pin then change the pin to a 25G, 23G is better IMO. 5/8" into the delt is fine but if you do glutes you should use 1 1/4" and 1" for qauds. I have had a similar lump when I shot into my qauds onces, not sure why but shit happens, it was gone the next day.. If it gets hot or red then you may have an infection so keep an eye on it

    Have been starting off with hamstrings because I've had 3 small pulls since february. 2 from sprinting, 1 during leg curls.

    Seated Hamstring curls. warmup: 60x20, 100x15, Working: 120x12,120x12, 130x10
    Some half standing/half laying machine: 3x12, 1x8
    db straight leg deadlift: 80x12, 80x12, 85x12
    Hipsled single leg: 4 platesx12, 4 platesx12, 6 platesx10
    hack squat: 6 platesx12, 6 platesx12, 8 platesx 10
    leg extension: 120x15, 140x12, 180x12, 200x8
    donky calf raises: 210x18, 230x14, 260x12, 280x10
    standing calf machine: 220x12, 200x12

    had a late workout so i saved abs and cardio/running for tomorrow

    Shoulder is still the same. Hasn't gotten really any better or worse. Still watching it. I hope I don't have what happend to lee priest a while back with his winny. That was supposedly happend due to his scar tissue build up at injection site. I doubt thats what i got. Like i said, I'll keep watching it for now.

    Today I was going to do AM shoulders with arms in the PM. I ended up only doing shoulders. My left shoulder is still swollen. No better. No worse. Still a bit tender too. Just waiting to see a change for good or bad.

    Shoulders went like this today:

    Various DB shoulder warmups

    Barbell military press: Warmup: 135,135,
    Working: 160x12, 175x10, 185x8 directly to 135x8
    Standing DB military: 65x12, 65x10, 70x9
    Upright Rows: 100x12, 100x12, 110x10,110x10
    Standing DB side lateral raise: 35x12, 35x12, 40x10
    Standing Reverse cable flies w/ cables set at top (the way ronnie does them) 50x12, 50x12, 60x8, 50x12
    Reverse peck deck: 12, 12, 10, 10


    with abs, I rotate through all 3 exercises then rest.
    ABS: Crunches on back extension platform 20,16,12
    machine crunches, 20,18, 12
    leg raises 20,20,20

    Tonight I took my 200mg shot of test in the quad. Hopefully I dont get swollen off of that too.. I'll have to stop then.

    Also I wanted to ask anyone if any of these could be possibilities for my swollen shoulder.

    1st thought. I once had my blood taken from a vein in my fore arm. After with drawing the needle my vein "blew". This is what the doc said. So after that my fore arm had a grape sized knot in it, then like 2-3 days later it was just big and swollen. So after thinking about this, I thought back to my injection. After withdrawing the needle, I had a significant stream of blood rapidly flow down my arm. Like I said before, I have read threads on here about this, and most people were saying it is due to passing through a blood vessel on the way down into the muscle, so when you pull out, the blood then comes out. Could it be possible I did then and caused a blood vessel to "blow" then swell in my shoulder as it had done in my fore arm?


    My second idea is that when I had my wife inject the needle in my shoulder, She was trying to shoot that shit in really fast. Probably too fast because some test oil was coming out where the needle meets the syringe. Kind of in a way where there was too much resistance when injecting because she was trying to push it in faster than my arm could take it. Could injecting too violently, i guess you could say, cause some kind of muscle trauma. I ask this, because that is what it feels like, like an injured muscle, as if i pulled a muscle or I got hit very hard.


    Well these are just some theories i came up with, let me know what you think.

    You can also try heating the vial up under some warm tap water and that will help the oil flow better.

    ^^ A very good idea, I set my bottles in a cereal bowl full of hot water for about 10 min before I draw, and I draw with 23gauge and shoot with 20g. the 23g keeps the stoppers intact better.

    Thanks. I'll try warming the vial up before hand. I took my shot to the quad last night. I'm starting to get sore in this spot too. No swelling or anything. Just feels like I got a charlie horse in my leg yesterday and today its sore. My shoulder is still a littl swollen. It is just barely starting to get better. The soreness is starting to narrow down into a smaller spot now. So thats good. I went to do arms today, Only got bi's done because i got caught in a conversation with someone i met, and seriously talked for an hour. It was one of things where you don't want to be rude and just go. So this is what my Bi workout went like


    Barbell curls: Warmup: bar, 65x20, 90x12
    Working: 100x12, 115x10, 125x8
    Cable preachers: 90x12, 110x12, 130x8, 120x10
    Hammer DB preachers: 30x12, 32.5x12, 35x10, 35x10
    Machine preachers: 12, 10, 12, 10 then kept droppin wieght and doing super sets till the stack was gone.

    Triceps
    Cable pushdowns: : warmup: 60x20, 90x 15
    Working: 150x12, 170x12, 200x10, 230x8 ( I think there is a lot of the pullies involved increasing mechanical advantage because that high of weight seems off)

    Then workout got cutoff right here, I'll have to go in tomorrow to make up for it. Monday I plan on doing my AM, PM workout since my test will start kicking in allowing me to recover faster and begin to ramp it up.

    Those knots in the delts can take a full week to go away, I wouldnt worry about it too much for now. I am sure using a 5/8ths needle didnt help matters much either. That is a really shallow depot no matter where you choose to inject.
    Great base to work from, looking forward to watching the results.

    wow thanks. So shallow shots will cause more soreness and/or swelling? I'm glad to hear something positive about my situation. Sounds like you have had some experience with some of those knots. Well thanks again!

    20 min cardio on bike- All cardio I keep a 130-140 beats per min heart rate.



    Afternoon I took my 200mg test shot to my right shoulder this time. My left shoulder swelling has completely healed. My right quad injection site is still sore. I used a 23g 1.5" needle this time on my shoulder. went down to about 1.25" on the injection. My Body weight is down about 3-4 pounds. Most likely because I've been backing off the creatine and supps. I still take "anabolic halo" for post workout recovery.

    PM: Back/abs

    barbell T-bar row: Warmup(Not including barbell weight)45x25, 90x20
    Working: 135x15, 180x12, 205x12, 225x10

    On Tuesday, June 10th, I did some legs. As usual I started with hamstrings because of my hamstring problems. I do them first to work on getting them stronger to keep from pulling. I did 3 sets of standing leg curls, then went to a half laying, half standing leg curl machine and on the second set, I was doing 10 reps, I had a small pop in my hamstring behind my knee. Usually I pull it up in the meat of my hammy. This irritates the **** out of me, so I finished legs with 4 sets of hack squats and 4 sets of extensions, then 2 different exercises for calf and got out. I didn't keep track of anything. I was annoyed.

    On monday i injected into my right shoulder. Like every other injection, it is sore. All my injections have been staying sore for about 5-6 days. Today I didn't workout. since tuesday, I have been feeling fatigued, achy, and have a headache. I've been sleeping a lot to try and get better. I forgot to mention on monday, after my test injection, I had to go get a mandatory vericella (chicken pox) vaccine for this EMT course I'm taking. So I'm not sure if my symptoms are from the vaccine or if it is that so called "test flu". Maybe a combo of both. Whatever I feel like tomorrow, I'm definitely going to start back up with shoulders/arms. Tomorrow is also my next 200mg shot.

    you are looking great man, solid base. Back is spot on

    One thing - try shooting in the ass - trust me - the least painful of the lot. Quads at a ****ing nightmare - sore as hell

    nice log and lookin pretty jacked in the before pics. i get a lot more swelling with shallow injections as well. for me pec injections were the least painfull

    i think your diet needs some work bro, you NEED carbs after your workout, and i know you said its a rough outline of youre diet but that doesnt seem like enought protein and you should be eating like every 2 hrs
