    tired of being small

I'm just starting out at 40 years old. I'm 6'2" 155 lbs been small all my life. I ve tried the shakes and I'm eating alot but very little gain. I'm thinking of trying Deca 200 or Anadeol50 to put on some weight. Any help would be appreciated

Start by posting your diet in the diet section. They will help you there first. IF you cant put on wt natually then you will not be able to maintain gains made from aas. 155lbs is extreamly small for sombody your hieght. I garentee you 100% confidence you are not gaining because of your eating. Nobody here will condone use of aas to sombody with lacking diet

Right on brad1986. Lots of people think they are eating allot but when their diet is analyzed its really not enough calories and/or the right kind of food. If you can't gain with your diet as is then you won't be able to maintain any muscle mass that you put on. The first year or two that I worked out I couldn't seem to put on weight (that was about 20 years ago) and then I had a guy at the gym help me with my diet and all of a sudden I started to get bigger and stronger.
Most people associate the diet section with those who want to lose weight. Instead think of it as your overall diet for what your goals are. There are bulking and cutting diets. Your success will depend on how much effort you put into eating.

Eat more, coming from someone who use to be tiny, I use to think I was eating a lot. But over the course of years you start to eat more and more and grow more and more. Looking back I really wasnt "eating a lot"

for you guys, eating 4 eggs whole in 1 meal with nothing else is "eating a lot".

    Lol, sweet sarcasm.

I'm also 40yrs and 6'2", but weigh 260lbs. Have a whey protien drink immediately on waking up, then start making breakfast. A cup of oats with another scoop of whey, 2-3 whole eggs, 1 cup egg whites,2-3 pieces American cheese. Usually comes out close to 1,000 cals and about 100 grams protien,,, often eaten casually over 30-45 minutes with coffee. :-).

At that weight you don't need aas to grow you need plenty of good food, im sure you aren't eating right. Get your self a good diet there are alot of guys here who will be able to help you out, give your self 6 month on a good diet and training and you will see good results. No point jumping the ladder using gear looking good while your on and when you come off you can't hold the weight you have gained.

    Hookworm -
TOTALLY sympathize in the being small dept. At 34 or so I was 140 soaking wet. I had been active, and lifting 1-2 days weekly since my early 20's.

I started lifting every day, and had a high protein diet. The key for me was to eat lots of little meals, all day every day. I was eating 7, even 9 times daily. Along with it though, I was high calorie/fat. Results were 30 lbs or so of weight gain, but lots was fat. My strength increases were very good, but I could have done this with a much leaner, lower calorie diet.

The kicker though, and something many others who add bulk easier don't get, is that dieting that fat away - without losing lean muscle - is incredibly difficult for guys like us. Especially the older we get. Now at 42, I'm caught between losing muscle to get leaner, or keeping it, but never being able to get much lower than 15-18% BF. I've been on that elevator for about 2.5 years now.

I'll start a cycle soon, but for now I'm just focusing on optimizing my diet down to the last nutrient, and staying consistent in the gym and with my cardio. In my reading here it seems the best way by far is to get as lean as you can first, and make sure your exercise routine is spot on for months first as well.

Be SURE your macro nutrient percentages are spot on!
