I just started calves. Kinda sucks

Ya know what......I have been doing these suckers for years and no matter what I try, they are just stubborn! At 43 my legs (knees) are starting to really bug me so I have to walk a fine line with legs. Really don't want to go under the knife so I play it safe and listen to my body more so now. At your age you will be able to get some great size on your calves in a relatively short amount of time.

Guys, all I can say is never wish your life away.... Being older has some advantages and you will see when you get there BUT.......you become your own bigest obstacle. No matter how much juice, rest, spot on diet....you have your limits and the injuries JUST dont heal up as quick. I thank all of you for your kind words and the log does help me to keep motivated.....sure wish this site was around when I was a younger man.

Decent shoulder day. Military presses looked like this: ( 135/12, 185/3, 225/3 warm-ups) 275/8, 275/8, 250/10, 225/15. On my other exercises (bent-over laterals, lateral raises, front raises, and shrugs) I always include a drop set on the last set to failure.

I am at the end of my 8th week and may extend it one additional week...we'll see. All in all it was a great cycle with minimum sides except for the sleep apneia I developed on cycle ( this is typical for me). I was happy I didn't develop gyno and have to hop on nov.

Looking good BB!
If you still see gains than extend IMO.

I think this will be my last week. I have hit the 217 lb. mark and have been very fortunate not to have the sides starting to creep up. I am looking forward to seeing what a trt dose of Tes will do in terms of holding onto gains. I am also looking forward to getting off of T4 for a while as well as hgh to get back to sort of a baseline and then get some bloodwork done in a month.

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. Starting sunday I will be doing 125 mgs a week of Tes and report my findings and some pics to see what has been kept and what has been lost.

This will be the first week on my trt dose of 125 mgs. I weighed in at 214 this a.m. and will be monitoring my weight/ strength level closely. I will be dropping one exercise per body part and getting back on track with the clean diet. I am going to be doing a tough mudder event in the spring so I will be incorperating some trail running/jogging twice a week until the snow hits the ground.

Entering week 2 of my trt dose. The obvious things are starting to go such as water weight (good) and pumped all of the time (miss it!) but my strength is still good but have noticed my joints are talking to me a little so set after set of heavy weight will have to be put on the back burner once again. Just trying to avoid an injury while keeping as much meat as possible.

At 43 going on TRT by choice for a number of reasons. I wish where I lived it was covered but its not, I will be getting bloodwork down in a month in order to dial in dosage if need be. Cycle was great, could'nt have asked for more out of an 8 weeker. Cardio got to be a bit of a problem but that was to be expected. Next go aroung will be the same but a 10 weeker with drol as a kickstart instead of tbol.

Look good. Tough Mudder is a bad sob. Just had one this fall less than 10 miles from my house. I was a spectator this year, may try it next year. Only downfall to it that a lot of runners are rec. enthusiasts and don't take it in the same way I would. I would want to push myself hard...guess that takes some of the fun out of it.
Thanks for the thread.

Well it has been almost two weeks since I last posted and almost 5 weeks post cycle. I am staying at a steady 210 and my strength is still good. I do have to be careful because my shoulder joints are starting to talk to me. I am planning on scheduling an appointment to see a doc and get bloodwork done, hopefully I will b able to share my results with u guys.

I have to say that I like the trt thing. I still feel strong and looking forward to doing a mini prime before my next cycle. I cant wait to start some carb cycling, my diet has started to slide a bit and I need to get back on track. I really hope that my numbers are in a reasonable range when I go for bloodwork. I do notice that my joints are getting a little bit beat up and trt doesn't help joints to the degree that a full blown cycle does.

I recently went to doctor and he ran blood test 7 weeks post cycle. My het was a little elevated, free t4 was a bit high and was told to jump on 5000 ius of d3 a day. I will post my tes levels as soon as I get that portion of the test back.

Any updates?! Enjoyed the read. How are the test levels at 125 mg's a week?

IActually still havent been back up to see the doctor for results. I know........wtf. I am back on cycle and have 8 more weeks so i have time to get them and adjust accordingly. I had learned that my Tes levels were 599 off cycle before I began the cycle that this log was based on but I was still losing size despite proper nutrition and training. Kind of frustrating. Sorry for taking forever to respond, alot going on in my personal life.
