Rest day
Almost went in for cardio but decided to rest instead. Had to snow blow my Grandmothers driveway so that was a bit of a workout in itself. Purposely ate a bit light mid day, but packed it in at dinner, needed a break from being fully stuffed all day. Back day tomorrow, going to try and step it up some more with some heavier weight and short rests, try and hit some rest pauses too. Put another round of chicken in for the week, trying to get 23-26oz in to me between breakfast and lunches. Tail end of week 8, gain train is running along smooth, picking up steam steady.

Woke up today worse than yesterday, sinus infection is getting bad and moving into my chest. I see the specialist tomorrow, hope they can figure this shit out before I kill someone. Reduced volume today since I am struggling to breath properly, still kept the weights up but increased rest times a bit. I will most likely be put on antibiotics tomorrow so the infection should subside soon and I will start to feel good again.
T3 is done today, took the last 25mcg pill today. I stopped the winny last week cause I thought it was causing the sore throat, but I don't think it was. Going to fire it up again this week at 50mg per day. Chest tomorrow, have to see how I feel then determine how I will train, might just go for some low volume heavy weight to see if my strength is going up.

Chest
Bench: 2 warm, 2 feel, 2 working 1 rp, 1 burn (hit new pb 325x2)
Flat fly: 4 working increasing weight each set
Incline Dmbl: 4 working
Pec Dec: 4 working heavy
Hammer Decline: 4 working
V-bar Pushdown: 4 working (pumping the tri's a bit for extra growth)
Dips: 3 sets to failure
Dealing with the sinus thing and a headache so I didn't do the fast pace, went heavy instead. Had a competent spotter there so went for it, plus there was some cute girls in there for a change. Missed a meal and had a bit smaller dinner last night and my weight is down a couple pounds, passed out on the couch and didn't get my evening snack in. I go to the specialist today and get checked out to see what is going on in my glands, nervous about the "C" word coming up, too much of that in my life this past year. It would be nice to get some antibiotics to get rid of this infection so I can feel good again soon. Depending what happens today will determine if I go in for cardio tomorrow. Will update what I find out after my appointment.

Feb 11, 273 Start of week 9
Rest/cardio
Went in for some cardio and abs, did a little biceps work too. Treadmill for 30 min, then some stretching. Did some crunches and knee raises to give a little attention to the abs, I don't do much. Want to do a little isolation work on the bi's to shape the ball a bit. Did a couple sets of heavyish barbell focusing on the contraction and squeeze of the bi, felt good had a little pumped and forced the veins to pop up.
Went to my specialist appointment yesterday, all I have to say is that our Canadian health care system is a joke. I have had both American and Canadian, the US was by far the better system. My fuktard doctor's office didn't even send my ultrasound results to the specialist. How the fuk is he supposed to do anything useful without the information needed to diagnose me. I waited 3 months for this and he is asking me questions, well I didn't get to see the results and am not a doctor. He did put my on a strong dose of antibiotics for the infection and ordered a CAT scan of my sinuses and gland area, so it wasn't a total bust. People always ask why I don't go to the doctor for shit, well they are useless here and I have no faith in these asshats. This is the type of incompetence you get when dealing with government run over privately run.
Legs tomorrow, hopefully the antibiotics kick in and allow be to breath properly by morning.

Feb 12, 273, Week 9
Legs
Extensions: 2 feel, 2 working 1 drop.
Squat: 2 feel, 1 working, 1 heavy just to get my back used to the next level with no belt (405 for the 1st time ever with no belt or wraps)
Press: 3 feel, 1 working (went up to 1080 and damn it felt heavy but got 8 decent reps)
Lying curl: 4 working.
Stand calf: 4 working (toes out)
Seated calf: 4 working ( toes in)
Think I am going to give blood today, I feel sluggish and I am probably due to give by now, in week 9 of my cycle. The medication is working but I just feel blah, should bounce back soon, plus I stopped the t3 a couple days ago so that could also be a factor. Past few days have been a struggle to hit all my meals, hard to do when you feel like shite and have no appetite, but I am trying and getting close. Shoulders tomorrow, if the lungs are up to it I will go back to the short rests, if not I will try and pound out some heavy weight, either way it should be a good one.

Felt good besides my lungs being weak. Had a great pump at the end, felt thick and full. Hope to get those 2lbs back with some red meat added into the diet yesterday and today. Supposed to get my prop in today so I will drop the long esters at 20 days out and run the prop till the end. Arms tomorrow, lungs should be a bit better by then I hope.

Close grip press: 2 warm, 1 heavy (275x2), 1 working rp 2reps
Cavers: 1 feel, 3 working
Dumbbell over head: 4 working
Alternate dumbbell curl: 4 sets increasing weight each set
Incline dumbbell curl: 4 sets increase weight each set. Got the 50's up for 8, damn those hurt
Cable concentration: 4 sets
Dips and V-bar push down super sets: 4 sets
Was feeling good so I put the stack plus the 5lb rubber weight on pec deck for an even 300 and did 3 sets for a chest pump. Still feeling good so did some cable preachers and over head rope extensions. Had a wicked pump going, veins blasting out of my shoulders and just fully swollen. Slept like absolute shit last night, nose was running all night and generally uncomfortable, but got up early pounded my shake and started to feel better. As soon as I started warming up I started feeling the surge, then after my heavy set of presses my body exploded and I felt like a monster. Things are moving along well, just wish this sinus chest infection was gone so I could feel good again, I only feel good for that hour and a half in the gym, then it is just shit for the rest of the day.
Got my prop in, they are 200mg/ml so I will do 1cc eod until March 11, I leave for a mini ski vacation to my Dad's place in Jasper Alberta on the 12th. Will start my pct 3 days after my last shot and try and maintain as much as I can until my summer blast. Trying to eat my way to 280 but I am at a stall for the last week, should pick back up though, and my body shape is noticeably changing.

Neutral grip pull down: 4 sets increasing weight each set
Cable row: 4 sets

Good day today, feeling better as far as the infection goes. Missed some meals over the last couple days, spent all day in Ikea and forgot my shake in the truck. Didn't prepare for yesterday properly at all, ended up finally getting a hot dog and piece of pizza while waiting in the checkout line. At that point I didn't care what it was I just needed calories to hold me over until I got to my truck and had my shake. Went out for dinner after Ikea so not the best day of eating, but it is what it is.
Took a couple pics, one last night and one this morning, not the best pictures, but it is something to gauge progress, I should have put up a beginning pic for reference.

Feb 17, 272. End of week 9
Chest
Bench: 2 warm, 3 working 1 drop.
Flat fly: 1 feel, 3 working(went to the 60's and they felt great, finally getting some weight and feeling the contraction with no pain)
Incl db: 2 feel, 1 working 1 drop.
Hammer decline: 3 working
Low cable fly: 3 working
Dips: 2 set wide 2 sets narrow
Rope push down: 3 sets, giving the tri's a little extra
Reverse push down: 3 sets, extra work for the tri's.
For the first time ever I was able to push through when I reached a sticking point on bench, I had 275 for my working sets and on the last set I hit failure and pushed and pushed and didn't give up until I was able to rack it on the top pin. Usually my mind caves and the weight goes on the bottom pin or my chest, I said no fuking way today and dug deep and got it to the pin, couldn't lock out but I got it on the pin. This should help me mentally go deeper into my power reserves, I have had so many shoulder and pec injuries that my mind is very strong in not letting me push into those deep waters. Now that I have found my grip width and my rc are healing and chest getting stronger, I am able to push a little bit further every workout without fear of the dreaded shoulder pop. Damn it feels good to enjoy doing chest without the fear of injury every workout.

Feb 20, 271. Week 10
Shoulders
Clean and press: 1 warm, 2 feel, 2 working.
Bar shrug: 1 feel, 3 working 1 drop.
DB press: 1 feel, 2 working 1 drop.
Side fly: 4 sets increasing weight by 5 each set to 45's. These still bother my forearm an rc if I go too heavy, singles hurt less.
Smith rear shrug: 3 working. Tried to get a good squeeze, first time doing these.
Rear machine: 4 sets starting heavy and working down in weight but up in reps.
Body was a bit sore from legs yesterday, plus that damn winny got to my joints quick, I am done with that shit for good. Pretty good session, felt pretty strong, 80lb db felt like nothing, blasted out 12 with little effort. Going to cut back carbs a bit and try to burn off some bf to try and bring the mid section in just a tad more for the last few weeks. Going to try and make it to give blood tomorrow, there is a clinic going on, I am pretty sure I need to.
Took a couple progress pics, not the best but the cell camera doesn't capture the true detail.

Arms
Close press: 2 warm, 2 working double drop.
Over head Db: 2 feel, 1 working 1 drop.
Cavers: 3 working.
Big bar curl: 2 feel, 2 working 1 drop. Went to 175 on the last set for 4 just to see if I could, then dropped to 95.
Alt Db: 1 feel, 2 working.
Incline Db: 3 working
Superset preacher and tri extensions: 1 feel, 2 working.
Loaded up the pec deck with the stack and cranked out a few sets for a chest pump, was feeling a little jacked at that point.
Finished off with 15 min on the bike trying to hold 120-125 rpm.
Great workout, body was pumped and my arms felt great. My bar curls are coming back, just need to tighten up the form on the heaviest set, but that is the first time in years I tried to curl that much. Rest day tomorrow, might go in for a little cardio and abs, see how I feel.
Donated blood today hope it makes me feel less sluggish, my bp was 165/126 but the machines don't give me an accurate reading. I had also just finished my workout so I was pumped.

Feb 22, 271 Week 10
Rest day and I am sore as fuk, my shoulders kept me up all night, kept waking to my arms above my head. The blood donation tired me out a lot yesterday plus I was so busy running around prepping for my M om's birthday dinner I missed some meals. I think tht combination plus an intense workout that morning just wiped me out. I feel good, just a little sore and tired from a hard week.
I did my final shot of long esters yesterday, 200mg e/200mg c/200mg p, from here on out it will be 200mg p eod. I have decided to not pct and just go into a cruise of self administered trt of about 120mg c/week. I know from previous bloods that my levels are low and to sustain any kind of size and sexual well being I will need to stay on. I will be actively looking for a good trt doctor to monitor me and get me on the legit side of the line, but until then I will do it myself with the help of the trt section.
I am going to slightly alter my diet to try and drop a couple pounds of bf in the final stretch of the cycle while trying to maintain my weight in the low 270's, my hopes of 280 are just not likely to happen so might as well lean up a bit more.
Back day tomorrow and it starts a new weeks rotation, damn time is flying, less than 3 weeks left on this cycle. Going to hit it hard again this week and really try to keep my diet on point and not miss any meals.

Back
Chins: 3 sets
Hammer DY row: 3 sets, just trying to squeeze and get full range of motion fully focusing on the muscle contraction.
Neutral grip pull down: 2 feel, 1 working
Hammer low row: 3 sets, not a fan of this machine, I think I'm too tall. Kinda mimics bent bar row over hand grip.
D handle close pull down: 3 sets
15 min on the bike
3 sets flexed arm hang with legs extended out, damn those are hard at the end of back day.
Felt a bit off today, my tri's are really sore from Sat's workout and my low back/hams are tight. Going to try manipulating my diet to drop a couple pounds of bf during the last couple weeks on cycle. This will make it easier to maintain weight while on cruise and have less mental effect when coming off and seeing the weight drop. The gyno is slowly making progress, getting a little smaller and softer every week, another reason I wnt to bring the bf down a bit more. Tomorrow is the last day of week 10, damn it went by quick, have to really focus and kick some ass the next two weeks and finish strong.

Feb 24, 271. End of week 10
Chest
Bench: 1 warm, 2 feel, 2 1-rep max with 1 drop. Hit 315 for a couple singles with a 225 drop for 10. Had a spotter so went for it.
Incl db: 2 feel, 2 working 1 drop. Got 2 pd's with 110's then 115's, never went passed 100's before.
Incl fly: 2 feel, 2 working 1 drop. Went to 70's for my last set, starting to build some strength in my flies.
Decline Hammer: 3 working
Pec dec: 3 working with partials
Dips: 3 sets to failure.
Pushed hard today, chest felt great, had a good mind muscle connection today. My upper chest is stating to fill in now, been a long time since I had some meat up there.
Going in for some cardio and abs tomorrow, trying to bring in some detail and drop a bit of bf through the end of this cycle. Been toying with my diet a bit to help with bf reduction, will play around and see what works and what doesn't.

Feb 26, 273 Start of week 11
Legs
Extensions to warm up the knees: 3 sets, tight squeeze at the top, hit the stack on the final set trying to pound in some separation.
Squats: 2 warm, 1 feel, 1 working 1 drop. Keeping the weight down trying to get deeper and really feel the quads contract. Went to 365 but couldn't go as deep as I did on my feel set at 315. Low back has been a tad tight and sore lately.
Press: 3 feel, 1 working. Stopped at 10 a side trying to get deep and feel the muscles work. My knee has been a bit sore so just trying to work it in slowly.
Curl: 3 working sets for reps and burn, these aggravate my knee as well so I don't go heavy.
Stand calf: 4 working sets with deep stretch and hard contraction, calves were on fire.
Flexed arm hang leg raises: 3 sets
Dip rack side knee raises: 3 sets
Bike for 10 min to cool down and flush the legs.
Workout was good, really felt good on my 315 set of squats, got to parallel as far as I could tell and my back felt good there. Leg press felt good, my knee didn't act up and I could feel that hot tingly feeling in my quads, love that feeling. Got a nice calf pump too, starting to get some nice shape and split in there, will look awesome once I bring the bf down.
Weight was up a bit to 273, mostly water but I did try to eat a bit more yesterday, and will again today. Shoulders tomorrow, going to pound them hard, try to do more of the hit style. Been adapting it into my routine in a modified way, I will slowly convert to it in a more true sense eventually.

Feb 27, 273, week 11
Shoulders
Db press: 1 warm, 2 feel, 1 woking (previous pb weight 100), 1 working 1 drop (new pb got the 105's up for 5)
Bar shrug: 1 feel, 3 working 1 drop. No straps and trying to get a good pull and squeeze, grip is getting better.
Single side raise: 1 warm, 2 feel, 1 working 1 drop.
Rear machine: 4 working 1 drop. Kept the weight heavy each set and really tried to force the muscle to work, felt great.
Smith rear shrug: 3 working, these are starting to feel better.
Hammer press machine: 2 feel, 1 working 1 drop.
Bike 15 min random level 10 for a nice sweat.
I made a mental breakthrough today on db press thanks in part to this thread and everyone in it. My first attempt at 105's was a fail, couldn't get them up from shoulder position. I refocused, thought about the HITT principles and grabbed them fukers, kicked them up to my shoulders, let out a yell as I pushed and they started moving. Got a few inches and they stopped, I was not giving in, let out another grunt and pushed with everything I had and those bastards started moving again to the top position. I was able to push out 4 more with intense focus and a fire inside that was something I don't think I have felt before. Racked them then grabbed the 75's and ripped out 8 more, I was spent but that euphoric feeling was insane. I knew I tapped a depth that I had never gone to before, I truly hit failure on that set an mentally broke down a barrier that has stopped me every time I hit that sticking point. The rest of my session I was on fire.

Arms
CGP: 1 warm, 2 feel, 1 working 1 drop.
Cavers: 4 working 1 drop.
Single overhead db: 3 working.
21's: 4 sets. Saw an article for a new way to do 21's, wide grip for 7, medium for 7, narrow for 7, all with a 3 second negative.
Alt db: 2 feel, 2 working 1 drop
Db concentration: 3 sets
Dips: 2 sets.
Good session, hit some good weights, feeling stronger. I think the new prop at 200mg/ml is working nice, feeling strong and able to push through sticking points better. Going to pick up some deca to run low dose for the last couple weeks of cycle then through my cruise. My joints need some relief plus the extra bit of anabolic action wont hurt.

Nice log, keep it up. Do you get any PIP from high-dose test prop?
-
03-02-2015, 07:08 AM #100
No, I have been lucky with no pip, was worried when I switched brands that it was going to hurt, but it doesn't. Seems to be good stuff though, my weight is creeping up again and I am getting stronger everyday.

Back, Deload workout
Chins, full hang to chin over bar: 8 7 6 6
Hammer row: 4 sets of 12 with a good stretch and squeeze.
Neutral grip pull down: 4 sets increasing weight each set to the stack (305).
DY row: 4 sets increasing weight each set.
Straight arm pulldown: 3 sets.
Hypers: 3 sets or 12 no added weight.
Doing a deload week because i am just exhausted and my body is hurting. Even though I am not going to failure or doing drops I am still hitting heavy weight, just not going to the edge this week. Ate a fair bit this weekend, not the cleanest but I got my calories up and my weight is reflecting it. Mid section is looking tighter in the morning and the veins are popping more in my arms and shoulders. I have been taking 12.5mg cialis eod for the past week, that might be helping with vascularity.I am exhausted until I get in the gym and hit my first set, then I am a fuking machine, but after I'm done it's back to be drained. Going to add more veggies into the diet this week, drop the starchy carbs in place of fruits and veggies. Also going to add in some beef, picked up 60lbs of chicken breast and 10lbs of beef yesterday. I have to start adding in some other meats, the chicken is getting harder to swallow.
Chest tomorrow, going to go for a pump and not go too heavy to give my rc a break, they are getting tired.

Chest
Db press: 1 warm, 1 feel, 1 working (110) went up easy so figured fuk it, 1 working (125 pb), 1 working (100)
Incline Db: 1 feel, 2 working.
Incline fly: 4 sets pyramid.
Decline bench: 1 feel, 2 working.
Super set pull overs and rope push downs: 3 sets.
Dips: 18, 15, 15.
Hit a pb on db at 125, felt strong once I finally got fired up. Started 200mg/week of decca yesterday and will run it through my cruise. Cycled out carbs yesterday in place of veggies, probably why my weight is down. Also had a stomach thing that was bugging me all day too.
Cardio or rest depends how I feel, but want to lean out a bit more over the next couple weeks.

Cardio
Did 30 min on the treadmill fasted, then did some stretching and abs. Finished with the bike for 30 min and had a mean sweat going. I have been cycling carbs and was shocked how low my weight dropped. I am adding carbs back in today and going to try and up my calories for the next few days then cycle off the carbs again for a couple days. I think I need to add in more fats and up my protein on carb reduced days, I think I was too low the past couple days.
One more week on cycle, really need to bring it home strong. Where did the time go, seems I just started this cycle now it's over. It has been a fun ride, and I have hit multiple pb's so I am more than happy thus far.

Legs
Squats: 1 feel, 3 working sets of 15 reps

Leg curl: 3 sets.

Kept all the weights down and tried to burn the muscle, was in need of a pullback workout especially after yesterdays snow removal fiasco. Shoulders tomorrow, should be recovered and feeling good enough to hit some weight. Going to load up on carbs and calories again today, weight is back up to 271 and hope to get it back to 275 by the weekend. Did my TDEE yesterday and it came in at 4700-5000, had never calculated it before, might need to try and force even more food down my gullet.

Was a quick workout today, had a CT scan I had to go have done at 8am. Pushed hard on presses, got the 100's up for 2 sets of 5, but no forced reps or drops. Everything else was for reps, trying to give my body a break this week from the really heavy loads. Arms tomorrow, going to get a good pump and burn on them.

Arms
Cg press: 1 warm, 1 feel, 3 working 1 drop.
Db over head: 3 working
Cavers: 3 working.
3 grip 21's: 1 feel, 2 working these kicked my asss, my bi's were on fired and pumped rock hard.
Preacher cg: 3 working.
Incl db: 3 working.
Rope push down: 3 working.
Dips: 15, 14.
This version of 21's is fuking amazing for getting my arms pumped, I did 2 sets at 95lbs and the burn was insane. I saw some real nice thickness and hardness in my arms today, veins are getting thicker and more visible. Was a pretty good week for a pull back week, this upcoming week is the last of the cycle going to make it a good one. I fly out to Jasper Alberta on friday with my daughter to visit my dad for 9 days and do some skiing. It will be nice to have a break from the gym after 12 weeks of killing it everyday, give my body a chance to heal while I crush some different muscles on the slopes.

Back
Bent row: 1 warm, 1 feel, 3 working double drop. Stayed at 3 plates to avoid hurting my lower back but kept reps at 12-15
Neutral grip pull down: 2 feel, 2 working. Maxed the stack then added an extra 20 in add on plates.
Hammer row single arm: 4 working, maxed it out at 5 plates a side, wish it had a second pin cause I could do 7 or 8 on singles.
CG pull down: 3 working.
Hypers: 3 working.
I was on a mission this morning, felt strong and tore up my lats good, they were on fire. I want to leave it all in the gym this week, last week was a pull back so I can finish off pushing my limits hard to the end. Going to try and ramp up the diet a bit too this week to get the most out of these heavy lifts, want to get as much as I can out of this last week.
Chest tomorrow, going to go for some heavy weight and lots of volume.

Incl press: 1 feel, 4 working 1 drop.
Incl fly: 1 warm, 2 feel, 2 working.
Hammer decline: 4 working.
Pec dec: 3 working 1 drop.
What a session, my chest was pumped and cramping by the end. Dug deep and pushed hard getting some decent weight and volume, my rc were starting to get fatigued, I could feel some pains starting to set in. All the heavy triceps work is paying off because my pressing weights and control are going way up. I couldn't believe how strong I felt on the heavy db presses, had lots of control and could feel the muscle contracting the weight up. I am finally starting to get some decent meat on my chest, and this session is going to spark some new growth for sure. Best chest session to date, perfect for the last chest session of my cycle.
No off day tomorrow, going to hit legs since I will be going away on friday and need to get a full week into 4 days.

Had to get done quick to take the wife to an appointment, still hit some decent weight and reps, the 90's went up really smooth. Had a couple beers at a business meeting and then had a cheat dinner and another beer, felt like shit this morning, not used to drinking anymore. Will try and get in at some point to hit arms, have a bunch of shit to do before I leave for vaca tomorrow morning.

March 12, 274. Workout 2 of 2.
Arms
Reverse grip press: 1 warm, 3 working. Kept the weight light at 185, not used to doing these free weight and shoulders were tires from the morning session.
Db over head xt: 2 feel, 2 working. Went to the 125 today and it felt good, that is a pb for me on this exercise.
Cavers: 3 working with presses after each set.
3 grip 21's: 2 sets at 95, 1 set at 65. My arms were on fire and so full of blood it hurt.
Alternate db curl: 40's, 50's, 60's.
Preacher machine SS with rope push down: 1 feel, 2 working with the stack on preacher, 3 working on rope.
Concentration db curl SS with dips: 3 working on CC, 3 sets of 20 dips.
I was on fire, couldn't stop, felt like a monster. There were a bunch of kids and a couple guys a bit younger than me in there so maybe it fired me up to hit it harder. I also had a big chicken and rice meal an hour or so before so my energy stores were topped up.
What an amazing finish to this cycle, couldn't have ended it with a better session. I weighed in at 274 before the workout so that puts me at 17lbs up from the starting weight of 257, but my body composition and shape have changed drastically. I really notice the density and thickness in my back the most, my chest is better and fuller, and my tri's gained some thickness. Now to try and maintain as much as I can so I can so I can go into my summer blast with some decent muscle mass.
That is a wrap for this cycle, I don't have any pics to post up, didn't have time to take any today and I leave for vacation at 4am tomorrow. I am pleased with the progress I made and the things I have learned that will make my next cycle better. The gyno was an unfortunate problem, but I am dealing with it and will take what ever steps needed to make sure it doesn't happen in the future.
I will be going on a self administered trt plan of 120-150mg of test and 100-200mg decca until my summer blast.
