Just want to introdue myself. Robert (lil'man). I am happy to be with like minded people who I can learn from. I am 52 years young and have been a backyard lifter off and on since high school. really let myself go the last five years though. height 5'6"
at 190lbs. So for the last month Ive been curling 85lbs sets and the same military sets. Also elevated pushups on buckets with my
five year old on my back. Well I am pretty impressed so far because my muscle def. around the neck and shoulders are cut. My biceps are fairly pumped and get looks from co-workers. My stomach has shrunk and tightened and I am seeing new lines in
my bod. though I still weigh 190. My goals are to get just a little
freaky for an old guy and maybe some senior division amateur
competion. I would like to try some gear so I am researching
sources that I can trust. Any help out there? So far the most
difficult is staying on a clean diet. I get to much comfort out of
junk food. I only lift twice a week since I am a Laborer my body doesnt seem to handle any more than that or I drop. Thats where i figure the juice might help.-------comments. Am I fooling myself about this, or is 52yrs to late?
ThanksLast edited by lil'man; 04-17-2002 at 06:10 PM.

Never too late to get in better shape. Many people I know in their early 50's have let themselves go for 30 years and have all kinds of pains and problems from it and would probably never get into a real workout session before they quit. Good to have you here. Please keep us updated on your progress and we will soak up any knowledge you are willing to share. I really enjoy the board as well since there are so many fans of exercise. I really have a hard time with my friends, getting them active that is.
Can't give you any advice on gear since I don't use myself, but I know openly here is just advice from guys who have years of experience in the right cycling/dosages/ and anti side effect methods. Stick around and do some searches and I am sure you will gain much from it. Again welcome.

Welcome to the board Lil'man, you're never to old to start getting yourself into shape. As for the AAS, I'll let the VETS and more knowledgeable members chat with ya on that.
I would also invite you to the Over 30 forum to check that out as well.
Again a big welcome
