My favorite 'ab exercises' are squats; clean; and deadlifts..

I only do direct ab work precontest.

For me I think they're hit as a secondary muscle. Like doing pull overs, deadlifts, squats, even bench. I try and keep good form and squeeze my abs while I lift.

If there is anything that is atestament to the saying "you are what you eat" thats abs...Abs are the one thing that are indicitive of your diet IMO...Case in point Carlos who says he never trains abs and you could do laundry on his stomach, I would be willing to bet his diet was absolutely terrific when those pics were taken...Heres my pieces of shit...

Everyone has abdominal muscles. Lower the body fat enough and they shine through.

Exaclty My point Senor Carlos...Also, I personally want abs real bad, but as I kept lowering my bf, my stomach kept getting flatter, but the abs werent pertruding as yours are, what gives for that??? I mean I want abs however they come, but I would also like them to be muscles as opposed to just visible...Any ideas? just keep cutting and see what happens later??/

that solution is simple... when you get lean... what you see if what you have

You simply have not been training long... You're relatively new to training are you not? Your development is simply a reflection of what you have, or haven't, achieved.

As Swole and others have said on your previous threads.. you should be concentrating on growing now.. not cutting

Right now you're just spinning your wheels.

There is no set rule.. i eat a lot of chocolate and ice cream.

I might be what i eat (sweet) , but my abs don't look it.

Some times people get bitten by the genetic fairy.

3 weeks from fitness model comp

Here it is, I think my body fat% is low enough, I just have to drop the subcutanius water... I wish I could be this lean year round but the reality is that I need to put on more size to be a real contender. (widen lats priority # 1)

If it's a for modeling ... you maybe too lean and vascular. Remember the average person finds vascularity ugly. And I don't see many fitness models that vascular.

Im on R-ALA by SAN, two tiny 1/3 cup portions of oats/day, lots of chicken, lots of green veggies, lots of whey shakes and cardio on an empty stomach. That's all, not cycling anything. Total cals less than 2300. Bodyweight 175. Vascularity is genetics and yea, I am more vascular and cut than most fitness models, but I'm not there to win, Im there to be seen by magazine editors (and anyone who wants to promote NO2 or Vascularity promoting products). What do you think about running creatine ethyl ester through the competition to keep my muscles full? I bought Nitrix, but I don't think that will be necessary.

Hey lets start a new thread guys "besides genetics, whats the best exercise to widen Dave's lats?"

24 from Montreal. Any Ideas for the creatine ethyl ester? You guys can check out WNSO.com and look into Fame if you want to see some good fitnes athletes. It's a "natural organisation" but we all know how that works... anyways, the feedback's appreciated.

Try asking in the supplements forum bro, personally I'm always a bit cynical about all these fancy creatines, creatine is creatine IMO but the guys that hang in the supplements forum are better informed on these matters than I am.

I think that is a UGL (UnderGround Lab) which we are not allowed to openly discuss on the board so you should really edit your post, oh and even if we were allowed to then posting it in a thread about pics of members abs would not really be appropriate.
Re read the rules and spend a few hours getting to know your way around the forums - click on "Anabolic Steroids - Steroid .com / Anabolic Review Forums" at the top of any page to go to the forum menu screen.

Why you chose this thread to post this bullshit is news to me as well.
