Pics
I promised myself that I would put these up if I actually made it all the way through to the contest. Although I am not near big eneough to compete (and too old 39) with the young guys I took all the steps and this was the outcome! 6'2" 202 contest day 230 now

Dude, you look fan-freaking-tastic!! I have a freind who is 45, started training 5 years ago, stand's 5'10" and competes every year at an ultra-shredded 185lbs. He projects very well on stage and looks bigger than he is. Eye_candy...am I wrong? Point is you will be surprised at how much bigger you look under stage lights. If I can get near your condition by April I will consider it a huge success!

Try losing 45 lbs and look in the mirror. My Mom came in town for the show and when I walked in the house after being painted she thought I was a big nearly naked burgler! She did not recognize me until I spoke.

Great work man. Hell, I'm 41 and still love to set goals as far as my physique and try to achieve them. I joke too that I'm old, but hey, nothing we can do.
Also, it is amazing how much better your head looks shaved. I now shave my down to like 1/16 and have gotten many compliments on it. Why in the world folks that have little to no hair want to keep it long and comb a few strands over like they are covering something is beyond me.
The shaved look is in.....thank God LOL!

Bro - You are the bomb. Amazing - You look younger than me. And I'm 34. Been in the gym now for 2 years. I think the gym knocks years off your looks. The 25 year something guys look older than me.
Way to go, Bro. I hope that I get the body and confidence to start competing next year. Ripped!

Are you kidding me? That is an unbelievable change...you ought to submit that to Muscletech
And you're never too old to compete..if you don't want to go against the younger guys, just do Masters...every show i go too, most of these guys don't give themselves credit and could have respectable placings in the Open
You should be very proud of the work you have accomplished
