new pics. A work in progress.....
You can tell which picture was taken first. Went from 165 to 185. BF% went from 18% to 9%. Want to get to 200lbs and 6% BF. Hard work pays off. I love the gym.....

It was a 3 month gap. I also gain alot of muscle in my legs that I didnt have before. I lost alot of fat around the abs area, lovehandles and lower back. They I mean the phitness instructors took my measurement and Im almost positive I was around 15-18%bf in one of those pics. Also the other pic I was around 9%. Thats what he told me, unless he lied, either way I was happy with my results, and I will get bigger. I will keep myall posted...

if there is, its marginal. i spent a good 5 minutes studying and comparing each area of his body, just to make sure i wasnt going blind. his abs do look ever so slightly better in the 1st pic, but that could be because it is taken from a further distance.
i am not knocking likebekham22's pysique or results, just saying that there is no difference in these pics. you definately look good, and i am not discrediting you in any way, just saying that if you have gained 20lbs, its all in your legs and/or back thickness (???), and if you have lost 9% bodyfat, where from?
you either had alot of fat on your legs, or your fitness instructor fvcked up.
like you said, you WILL get bigger, and with your shape, you will look really great when you do add 20lbs

an old trick personal instructors used to do is when taking initial measurements they add a little bf% or inchs on the waist or knock off a little size of the muscle measurements.
then in 6 weeks or whatever they take real measurements and the customer is chuffed and carries on paying the fee even if there is no real difference.
not saying this happened to you but i again studied the pics and still cant see a difference but you do look great none the less,so fair play for that

if you cant see any difference at all there then you just dont have a very critical eye, or are not looking very hard...look at his lats, his waste line, the cuts in his torso from his waste to his traps..hes definately noticabley leaner with some more size. very subtle angles might play tricks the way the pics are taken, but i can notice a definate difference. if he did a most muscular or front double bi pose in both pics i think the difference would be alot easier to tell, but i can definately see progress.
keep it up dude

I can't see that much of a difference either.

tank, sorry but 20lbs and 9%bf is loads especially on someone as lean as him, anyone with 18%bf will never have such a prodominant 6 pack and even you cant argue with that.
the camera been different distances still doesnt mean a gain of 20lb and 9%bf loss.just think of a magnifying glass, same thing but on a slighter scale.
he looks great yeah but those very slight differences dont accont to 20lbs.sorry

165lbs @18%BF = about 135lbs of Lean Body Mass
185lbs @ 9%BF = about 168lbs of Lean Body Mass
That means in 3 months or 90 days, you gained 33 pounds of muscle and LOST 13lbs of fat, all natural? Thats gaining a 1/3lb of muscle a day...
Whats your secret?
