Updated Pics from Mavsluva
***SCROLL DOWN TO POST#13 and 14 FOR BETTER PICTURES.***
I was forced to take these by myself so the quality is not quite as good as I'd like it to be. I'd say that my shoulders and my legs (especially) have improved over the last several months. Below is a link to some pics that I posted back on 11/6/06:
Mavsluva: 182lbs Pics
I'm currently wei***ng 170lbs. My plan for the up and coming months is to cut fat and get shredded for the Spring/Summer. And of course, I'm still natty and always will be. I'll get my wife to take some pics of me later today or tomorrow and I'll then add them to this thread.
Grace and Peace,

Not bad at all Mavs.
Nice wheels
I think you should prioritize arms and delts while cutting this time around.. It'd add to the balance of your physique.
Any back pics?

My arms are what I would consider to be my genetic sweetspot. I don't work them as often because of that. I've been really focusing on my legs in an attempt to achieve the best possible symmetry going into my cut. Now that I've got good physical balance, I'll begin incorporating my upper body more.
Thank you Nark and #12.

I was looking back at my very first picture thread that I posted back in November of 2005 and I weighed 165lbs and was much leaner. I would like to consider myself as having grown a bit since then, but the numbers really don't make sense. I usually never pay attention to the numbers, though, as I use the fit/feel/appearance grading scale more than anything.
Oh well, I'm happy with where I stand.

My goals will pretty much be the same as they have been over the past few years. Cut during the warmer months and then bulk during the winter. I plan on busting my legs as hard as possible as I'm determined to get some better definition out of them. In the end, as long as I've got good symmetry, then I'll be happy.
Thanks for the compliments everyone.

Oh yeah, see how much larger my right lat is versus my left lat in my new avatar? I've had some issues with some pain in my left lat/lower shoulder that's keeping me from training that area. It's painful enough to where I can't perform lat pull downs. I really hope that I don't have any structural damage in that area. I can do any and all pull exercises as long as my elbows are tucked in. But wide grip pulls....forget it.

Dude...mavs, you look awesome man! You can tell you put in a lot of work for that physique and you must stay pretty consistent with your diet and training. DO you do any cardio?
Your legs look good. Quads are thick. You have a pretty wide rib-cage which makes your front double bi look great.
I know what you mean about the numbers not adding up. Just pay more attention to the mirror and the weights you are lifting. If you are getting stronger you sure as heck aren't shrinking. My weight didn't get as high this year as last, but I was stronger and I stayed leaner, as I am dieting down, I am really seeing improvements. Muscle maturity and density plays into this as well...do not forget to take those into account.
As far as your lat goes, it is not too bad. I have the same thing, but mine is from me being a pitcher in high school so the lat on my throwing side is much larger. I would get that checked out by the doctor though ASAP if you are having pains. IT could get wayy worse. You may have a nerve impingement or something and may need some ART therapy or something. Where is the pain exactly?
BTW, I am glad you are still posting here man. You make this board a better place. We can always use memebrs like that!

I really think it's a result of being over used. From gymnastics (I used to be a gymnast) to weight lifting, it probably has become strained. I'm right handed so I'm naturally stronger on my right side. I think my lopsided strength has resulted in a muscle strain or something in that area. It never shows any inflammation or discoloration, so I doubt that there's any structural damage in there. But at the same time, I'm not a doctor.

I was finally able to do some lat pull downs this week for the first time in several months. Zero lat/shoulder pain. Lats are very sore today!
