New member and my progress
Hey
Well I just wanted to share what I got so far since I started.
The first pick is what I started with I was 265
I decided I needed to lose weight and over a period of time I dieted a bit and did a bit of cardio. I had lost 30 pounds doing so, though I wanted to lose more weight so I began to strict diet and after some time I began to start lifting.
I began with the noob mistakes some make, focusing on isolation movements like curls, and running for hour and then train. After a couple weeks I began to read up on the different techniques and regiments that come with bodybuilding, and realized the bull training I was performing.
After reaching 198 I found myself fairly scrawny looking, and being disappointed in my arms. So the second pic is of me when im around 209 after some time.
So now to the more recent changes
Iv bulked for a bit and ended in the beggining or january and adding a bit more cardio.
Now i am close to the body fat i was last summer or a tad more though i added on 25 pounds. My Arms are still on the skinny side just like most of my other body parts but being 6 4 its a bit difficult to make a more visible diffrence, but im not giving up.
Now the plan is to get down to the lowest I ever been, 7-9% BF.
Thanks for reading and looking
Where do u guys think im at now and how long would it take to get down to a 7 with a good diet of course.

i would say ur at about 15-16% bf right now so to get down to 7%...thats about 18 lbs you would have to lose. you could get down to that in 6-8 weeks with really good dieting. whats your diet like? i would just try to do a really lean bulk so you can gain some muscle like you want and lose some of that bf at the same time.

Thanks guys.....yea im a bit more focused on gaining a bit more muscle then seeing those abs, although that is my goal to have a full set of visible abs
I’m try to take in at least 250 grams of protein a day, keeping carbs and fats (of course healthy ones) at a moderate level.
I do cardio 3-4 times a week, usually low intensity for an hour, and also play hockey on the weekend which counts as a cardio for me
I hit the gym 4-5 days a week lifting heavy, and this is were my I get most of my motivation. As a kid I NEVER did sports so when I started lifting I did 30s for a dumbbell chest press and now I can do a set of 6-7 reps of 70s so im sticking to it and seeing how far I can get my body into shape
Thanks again for the kind wordsLast edited by logen32; 04-24-2007 at 11:39 AM.

Great job Logan! I think the bug has bitten you, it's very easy to get hooked to fitness. I call it a healthy addiction, soon all your friends will be asking you to show them how to lift.

If you could post up your diet and workout (both lifting and cardio) in detail that would help us out a lot.
