pictures of me, am i good enough for first competition?
im 22, im 6ft 2. i weigh 16stone and 3 quarters. been training nearly 3 years, on and off gear for the last 2 years.

haha was tensing as hard as i could!!
the competition isnt till september. i was aiming to put on 6-10 lbs by july then start cutting for september. yeah need to loose some bloat and more bodyfat.

i havent dieted before, im fairly lean whilst bulking. do you think 8 weeks is enough time?

go for the comp mate dont expect to win but you will gain valuble experience and then who knows you may win your next one. good luck dood

ya your looking good. get on a bulker till end of june beginging of july whatever gives u 10wks to cut since you dont put on that much fat and just like it states above dont excpect to win but your first time is for the experience then after that its all about wining.

Plenty to work with there!! Looking good. Bulk up until June and then cut slowly, aiming to be competition ready from 2 weeks before your comp. You will probably not make it to your best condition by then as most first timers miss their target by a week to ten days! So play it canny and aim for peaking earlier than the competition date. Then you should be in peak condition in time for your placement in the comp!!!!!

when i do a rear back spread my back looks quite wide, but when i do a back double bicep my back vanishes, what do you think i should concentrate on my back to make it look bigger? do you think weighted chins with a stretch to get my lower lats out?

I agree with borntobeblue, you may not win but you will gain valuable experience. i began competing in bjj and submission grappling within my first couple months to get used to fighting in tournaments. the experience alone is worth giving it a shot.

I would say work on your diet and you could be ready for comp before you know it. Keep up the good work man.
