I Cant Gain Weight:(
What's Goin On Everyone, Im New To The Forum. Ive Been Working Out Constantly For The Past 4 Months. No Matter What I Do I Can't Gain Weight. I Eat @ Least 5 Meals A Day. I Eat Mostly Home Cooked Meals Rarely Processed Or Junk Food. I Dont Really Count Protein Or Calories, But Im Sure I Get Enough Protein,Carbs, Etc. I Also Have 2 Protein Shakes Daily. I Work Out 4 Times A Week. 2 Days Upperbody And 2days Lowerbody. I Am 6ft 2.5 Inches Tall And 175lbs I Believe. My Goal Is To Be 200 And Have A Nice Build(Not Huge). What Can I Do To Get Better Results? I Am Going To Post 2 Pictures I Know There Not The Best. But Here Are The Results Until I Get A New Camera.

I would suggest counting your pro, carbs, and fat. If you add it all up I bet you will be suprised that your not eating enough. You can gain weight it just takes a solid diet. If I were you, I'd go take a look in the Diet Forum. There are a few good stickies at the top for hard gainers. Follow the diets there and your pretty much guaranteed to gain weight. Good luck.

first off, welcome to AR. There are so many knowledgeable guys here, take as much advice you can get, read read read!
leg pics?
for sure not getting enough cals. 5 meals/day and I can guarantee each meal is no more than 500 cals; that's 2500 cals. To really gain, I'd put you around 4,000 cals.

they make a couple shakes that are 1000 cals each if you dont have time to eat anymore than you do and im sure that would put a little weight on you

You need to first figure out how to count calories properly.
When that is done then concentrate on your sleeping habits/water consumption and training regimen.
If more calories are consumed than burned you will gain weight, it is really just that simple. What kind of weight is determined by the other parts of the equation.-B D

also you might want to check on your weightlifting routine. it might need some work too. you have a really good build. the weight you will gain will come on nice for you. imo, it comes down to dedication in the gym and your diet. Also people forget to mention it takes a lot of patience. It could take up to two years or more for you to get to 200 lbs. So "exercise" a little patience as well

Lotsa carbs in that diet. 1 chicken breast, and 1 tuna sandwich for single meals doesn't sound like enough as far as protien content. If you're using 1 can of tuna to make a sandwich that's around 20g of protien. You need to eat more and give it some more time. Do you do heavy squats?

Disagree, I personally think protein is overrated and have gone months with less than 1g/lb with adequate carbs and fats and stayed very full and gained LBM.
Each person will be different obviously but as long as you're eating ideal foods and your calorie count is higher than what is being burned you WILL grow. That fact cannot be argued.
Either way I think you should eat a solid meal before bed and drop the shake or add the shake during the night to add calories.
You look lean from the pictures so you obviously need to eat even more to grow, you have a fast metabolism. Also eat larger meal a little less frequently to help slow your metabolism down a bit.

I agree with IBD. Carbs are protein sparing so if you have a diet rich in carbohydrates you can eat 1 gram per lb bodyweight.
1.5 per/lb is correct for dieting though IMO.

lol @ the above contents.
you obviously need a diet rich in fprotien and fats, your obv gettting enough carbs to get you by, ( being hungry is unavoidable ) just dont fill that hunger with empty carbs.
i've always been carb heavy befor e i cycle alot ( bucycleing etc 0 or any other cardio,
although my tren makes cardio almost impossible.
you need to eat alot more fish, nuts, dairy etc. ( from the looks of it a bit of fat wont hurt you. in fact it will help your body build muscle as you will have a small amount of fat stores to leaCH FROM )
if i were you i would be focusing on a bulking diet as you will build more muscle masss that way then trying to be strict with a lean diet that isnt giving you enough in the first place
