You know it's funny because I'm struggling with this right now. I LOVE BJJ but because of many injuries I was forced to quit. Now, I have access to train again which I did last week but I already made my goals for this year and BJJ wasn't part of it. I'm struggling to not train because I love it so much but with my summer cutting cycle just starting I really need to be 110% committed to my goals. I don't want to be doing too much cardio and wrestling while on Tren is miserable.

Thank you so much. I think in some ways my progress has been accelerated because before I had my hip surgery I was in awesome shape. I was also bodybuilding prior to the surgery. However, not being cleared for working out for an entire year post-op really took its toll. I was so fed up with how I looked and needed to make the changes and really hit the gym hard. I'm happy where I'm at now and excited to see where the next 2 months are going to take me.

No, I didn't want an unfair advantage. I would NEVER compete if I was on a cycle as that's just not cool. I was training BJJ a ton when I first started TRT though and everyone noticed how much stronger I got. However, I don't consider that cheating because it is Dr. prescribed. I'm a few weeks into my cycle now but with Tren I think BJJ training would be a major disadvantage because lack of cardio.

I agree mate, wouldnt want to be taking steroids if i was to compete, even though most people do in my area! though i am self medicating TRT and i will still be doing that.

What kind of weight training can you do after a hip replacement? Squats?
-

I actually don't have any restrictions but my legs are nowhere as strong as they used to be They had to cut thru my gluteus to get to the hip so it's not as strong as before. Plus, when I go too heav it will bother me for a week or so because of this I have to be smarter about my training

It's funny because my brother knows I'm on try and he says the only reason I look this way is because of all the shit I'm taking. I then point him to two of my friends on trt that are fat slobs and say why don't they look like me? I then invite him to come workout with me and eat what I do but he declines.
Gear def helps but it will never replace hard work, dedication, and discipline

I have a better idea. Offer to set him up with all the gear and bet him $10,000 in one year he wont even look close to where you are at. Dont help him train or anything. Let him do that on his own.
If he gets off his but and trains hard and looks good he wont take your $10,000 because he will know what he had to put into it and 99.99% chance you have that to hold over his head forever because he will fault on the bet.

It's funny because he actually works out more than I do but just looks anorexic. He runs and does cardio and barely eats. He weighs about 130lbs. and is obsessed with his weight. If he goes to the pool with me everyone comments how great I look and nobody says anything to him. haha

OK so he has no idea about diet except for trying to be thin, no fat. Are you sure he has a Y chromosome? lol
Well if he did take gear then he would gain some size but loose it twice as fast as he gained it once he stopped due to diet. He needs to just realize you/he have different goals and be happy with who he is, his size and not jealous of you, your size. If he wants to look like you or gain size he just needs to man up and change his diet and training.
I dont know why people have to try to tear someone else down to make themselves feel better? I try to give credit where credit is due. I'm sure you dont give him a bad time about being thin if thats what he wants.

When I say he is obsessed with his weight I'm not kidding. If he eats one cookie he will literally go for a run to burn off the 50 calories. He studies every food wrapper and always comments that it contains X amount of calories.
We are polar opposites in this regard and I don't think he is jealous because I believe he just wants to be able to wear skinny jeans.

Lol, skinny jeans, real men make normal jeans fit like skinny jeans. I was caught up in calories and that shit when I was younger, not so much anymore. As long as I am getting my protein in I am good for the most part.
