Could this be done to the board? Not a complaint a question.
All the time the issue comes up of people asking AAS questions and then members have to try to decipher there age from previous posts. I know that you can't prequalify them, or force a registration process on a board like this.
However is there some (easy) way to add a users age to their profile once it has been established, what I mean is just like you have to have X amount posts to have PM privelidges, could you have the same sort of deal if you had been a member for X amount of posts and time on the board when you clicked on a users profile it would show their age? You could set it up so the mods/vets/admins etc had rights to add it to ones profile once they had found it out through an inquiry, that way it would only have to be added once and then from that point on anyone with time and posts on the board would be able to verify that the user was 25 so they could safely give them cycle input.
I don't know if this is doable but the nice thing would be that the new guys would not even realize that their age stats were veiwable till they had been on board for a while so it would still be easy to ask them their stats just like you do now, only you could then record them for future usage.
I don't know if this is the dumbest idea you guys have ever heard or if its just too hard to implement but if not hopefully it or another system could be put in place to ease the process of responding to AAS questions.

It sounds like a sound idea . Everyday I see posts with questions where following post is asking for stats before info is discussed .
Always OP states somewhere there is research involved but answer is needed ?
It seems from time to time the poor stats solidifies the terrible proposed cycle plan .
I'm thinking a Steroid License like a drivers license .
You have to meet the basic rules to get a Steroid permit .
If you violate the steroid laws your gear is revoked and you have to take a PCT class .
AAS is not the answer for every situation and that is reason throwing caution to the wind is a necessity .
Go FFM
Dont wanna be old .

If there was a way to actually verify the age of posters then that would be an excellent idea. It would filter out an enormous amount of BS and uneccesary drama on the board.

Yeah I don't see any way to actually verify age. I doubt many would register if you had to submit your actual information to form an account. What I am talking about is a system where once someone has actually revealed thier age that a mod/vet etc could add their age to thier profile then any time in the future when they posted all one would need to do is to click on their post to see their age in their profile, as opposed to trying to read through there last dozen posts to see if they have mentioned it before.

Good idea and on the right track.
Here are my thoughts:
When a new member registers, I bet he is proud to be a 19 year old newcomer kinda bragging in a way.....until he starts to find out that it actually works against him once he hears that a cycle at 19 is not such a terrific idea after all.
So if the noobie has any idea up front that his age will be held against him, he might not be so eager to tell the truth when he registers. Already so many of them fudge their ages anyway. So the best way to really find out the age is to let it unfold in a natural way hopefully at the point of registration or spontaneously within the thread by not thinking of the ramifications ahead.
Once registered and the age is in the profile, this is the best time to confirm the age, if in fact the age is honestly stated. However if a noobie has lurked around the site at all before hand and sees that within the thread there is a "mandatory age profile", then his cleverness might influence his registration.
I agree that it is extremely important to know the age before giving input. I suppose at this point, the best thing to do is for the seasoned members to continue to ask for stats until answered. This might have to work for now until something very artful has been figured out.
Nothing is more disturbing to read a post where another noobie advises another young buck to cycle.
