photo question that I should know by now!

Upload it to photobucket and then just copy and paste the image tag in your post. Photobucket is free and very simple.

how do I post a photo within a post? when I drag and drop from my desktop, the image has my name on it. so wondering how to post a photo NOT from a website but simply off my desktop....thanks

THANK YOU... I just did this and copied and pasted to this post, but did not actually post it because imbedded in the link is the username which is then connected to FB....so not private.

Any other members have a suggestion?

Just rename the photo so it's not in anyway connected to your FB or personal life.

Then upload the renamed photo.

Simple.

Thanks however....I do that already. I re-name and everything....but when I drag to the post, it has my name on it anyway....weird.

For example....my avatar above is labeled BB-snow deer.jpg ....but if I dropped this same exact photo into this post it would say....

//users//JaneDoe//desktop/BB-snow deerjpg

Take the image, re-name it as "slimmerme". Save to desktop.

Then upload that image to photobucket.

Then use the image code from photobucket.

Do exactly that and it should work for you.

^^ did that too....same issue...imbedded is the photobucket username which is public on photo bucket ( which needs to be public to share a link) which is then (without my doing) linked to FB......hope this makes sense

Your photobucket username must be your personal then. Do like I did and create a photobucket account with your ar username.

Ill post one from mine and pull one letter out so you can see what I mean.
