New to Site...34, been in gym for 1 month and still don't know what is best for me...
I am a 34 yr old single mother of 3 and I have never put my physical appearance in the forefront of things important to me. I am tired of feeling weak and and not being happy with my body. I am short and have a great foundation to work with as far as existing muscle (was a cheerleader for a long time). I have been working out and eating better and even though I go to the gym about 4 times a week, I am not seeing results...I don't think I am doing it right...I need help...

Welcome! Glad you are here. You will love it and learn a lot.
Like Matt said, go to the Diet Questions forum and start a thread and/or the Workout Questions forum.
For now just go ahead and post in the general and not the female forums. You have to be Pink to do that plus
to be quite honest, they are not active anyway so input is rare.

Jem...glad to have you. You are not alone. I was training for more than a few months before I got serious about my diet and now I am on the right path thanks to the diet advise from damienm05 and gbrice and others. You have come to the right place. Welcome!

Raising 3 children as a single mother is a workout itself .
You will really have to push yourself hard in the gym to top that .

I just started prioritizing my body as well, and am very new to the Forum. There is a lot of information and support here, for people who are serious about health and fitness-- and it's fun, too.
I have seen a significant improvement in myself, in just 6 weeks. You will, too!
