new on this side of the net
Hi everyone I have been working out all my life. And I still don't have the body I want. Maybe you gals can spit out your secrets to get the perfect abs.
I'm 130 pounds
My height 5'7"
I work out 3 to 4 times a week and i eat clean. But i don't have a set routine. I would like some of your expertise in setting up a workout plan and a diet that i can follow. My goal is to get cut and hard. I don't want to put on any size. I"m just looking to loose body fat and mainly in the abdominal area.
any input will be greatly appreciated (-:

Welcome to the board Laurex...
We're going to need to know your diet...write out everything you eat on a daily basis...how often you train...how often you do cardio etc...i know you said you don't have a set routine, but give us some ballpark figures...the more specific you are the better
You can post it here or wait until jason or another super mod gives you access to the female forum and you can post it there

This is the routine i try to follow:
Breakfast,
1 cup cottage cheese
1 pack of oatmeal
Lunch,
Protein 5oz of chicken
carbs two whole wheat slices, or 1 cup pasta.
pre/post workout meals,
1 cup of juice
3oz chicken or 4 or 5 eggwhites
snack,
1 1/2 cups of milk
3 fat free slices of cheese
Right now i'm working out 3 days week. Mon- Wed- Fri
Mon- Concentrate on legs,triceps and abs
Wed - Biceps and Chest
Fridays - I workout a little of each of the 4 body parts mentioned above.
I don't like to work on back and shoulders since i tend to get big rapidly and that is not what i'm looking for.
I took out my cardio for a while since it takes away from the areas that i don't want to loose. I'm pretty content with my legs they are slender and strong. Cardio makes me loose my butt and i don't want that.

Welcome girly You definitely need more food! I must get ready for work but i will be back on after I get there and if no one else has posted some diet help I will.

5'7, 130 lbs, doesn't sound that bad. You sound like you are already on the road to a great shape.
