I'm new too :) Starting t3/clen cycle
I'm starting my t3/clen cycle. Hoping to get some advice from other women who have experience with it. Most of the threads out there are for men. I'm 25 years old, 5'5'', 135 ~18% bf. Been killing it in the gym, especially with the cardio, and I have my diet in check. My goal is to lean out...

First off welcome
Second I am not a woman so keep that in mind
Third you said you want to lean out and your at 18% bf. , isn't that already pretty low for a female?

Thanks! I guess it is lean, but I wanna be around 15%. I gain weight very easily so being at this weight is by doing a lot of cardio and keeping carbs low, mostly only coming from veggies and one serving of oats in the morning and a few rice cakes post-workout. My cals are around 1600 a day. And i'll have a re-feed once a week. So i need a little help to get to where I wanna be.

I want to share a thread with you. Please pay attention specifically to post 39 and 52. Very important information you might want to consider before going under 18% BF.
Meantime glad you are here and hope you enjoy the site~

Those are very good posts, thank you! I have been researching and learning about the effects that of all this training and dieting will do to my hormones. I'm working on my exercise science degree right now and learning about the endocrine system has become very interesting to me (most of the people in my class hate it, but now that i realize how important it is I actually enjoy studying it). When i first started training seriously i was following fighter diet, if any of you are familiar with it. Pretty much no grains at all, tons of vegetables and some lean protein. It definitely worked to get me lean. But i was doing 2 a days, eating very low fat and carbs, and stopped having my period. Before i knew anything, i thought this was awesome. But now that i'm more informed i realize it's not good for my body. I know estrogen is very important for healthy bones so I got on a low estrogen birth control pill. I don't want kids, so I guess at first I was mainly not worried about not having it, but it affects more than just your reproductive system.
I'm happy to see there are many knowledgeable people on this board, I'm trying to do everything in a healthy way, or healthiest I can. Even though i hate to admit i'm a little more concerned with looks at this point. I was getting blood work done and it showed i was hypothyroid. But the doctor I had kept dragging on, making me do more blood tests, and seeing specialists, which started getting very expensive and I never got any real answers or treatment. Now I moved and i'm a broke college student again (I was working, not i'm going back to school) and can't afford to do all the tests I want to do. I did have my hormone levels checked too which seemed normal (her words). But then again, testing hormone levels can differ so much depending on when they're done. So who knows...

HAHA! Well if it's helpful information I don't care if it comes from a guy, girl or martian. I'm all about getting different people's advice and opinions. I wanna start a log of my workouts and foods on here with progress pics and i want constructive criticism. Not just oh yeah, you look good. Cause that's not very helpful. So please don't hold back

Fitchick25, how did clen work for u??? any bad side effects or anything along those lines

No bad side effects...i mean aside from the shaking. (Definitely need to put eyeliner on BEFORE haha!) And if i didn't drink enough then i would get headaches, but nothing really awful. I've probably had worse sides from otc diet pills lol. I can't deal with feeling nauseated like a lot of them make me. But as far as if it worked...after my first cycle i weighed 1 pound less. That's with staying on the same diet i was on, which was low carb low fat high protein. Now i know it might take a few cycles to see results. I've actually decided not to run it again though. I'm gonna try to do it without taking anything, see how lean i can get with extra cardio and a little lower calories. I've never taken an EC stack, thinking about maybe doing that. If it can tame my appetite that would be wonderful, i swear i think i can eat more than anyone i know. The clen definitely didn't help me with that. And also energy...clen didn't give me much and i didn't know how stacking caffeine on top of it would be, so i didn't. Maybe once it gets closer to summer time i'll wanna give it a shot again if i'm not where i wanna be. Hopefully i will be though
