Glad to be here
First and foremost I hope I'm posting this correctly, I've never belonged to a forum. Assuming I have, I'm a 41yr. Old male from NY. My main objective here is to communicate with veterans who are within my age range and build. Not just build muscle but knowledge as well. I'm not 20 anymore, so as we all know our bodies change and gaining mass as well as strength can be frustrating. I know a huge factor is simply having enough energy after working, commuting and being a parent. However, i know or at least feel as if I still have it in me to keep up with the young bucks in the gym. Don't get me wrong, they motivate me and it keeps me pushing that last rep but I don't feel the same. Maybe what's really mess'n with my head is when a younger dude looked at his boy and said " he used to be huge". Pointing at me non the less, I smiled but I was PISSED!

Welcome to the forum. Im 43, and a father of a year and a half year old boy. I can certainly relate. If I were you I would consider finding an HRT doc, as now aging is looked at like a disease. Ha ha. Even if all of your blood tests come our normal, you are in the age range that you can actually get steroids prescribed to you. I actually go to my local pharmacy, pick up testosterone and inject it myself. It also lets the family know it is just a medicine you are taking as it will have your name on the box from the pharmacy. Then if you buy more, it can blend in with what you have if that is the direction you are heading. Most men can easily get testosterone prescribed them after the age of 36 or so. Thre is a lot to learn on here and it is good to have you. Again, welcome to the forum.
