6 Shootings In 2 Hours - TORONTO, CANADA
We seriously need to start pushing to get new legislation making laws tougher then what they are in Canada. This is one thing that I strongly feel that as Canadians, we should adopt from Americans. Their laws are tougher, stricter and more practical for the type of society we live in.
In my honest opinion, I feel as though the Canadian Charter of Rights & Freedoms is designed to protect the criminal.
One thing that we can't forget is that getting upset at the Police is not the answer. The Police don't make the laws, they only enforce them. We need to push on our Government representatives to have a tougher stance on crime.
Here's some links to shootings in what used to be good parts of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

I can confirm that they ALL are gang-related. It's disturbing. How the hell do we have Bloods & Crips in Canada? Honestly?
TV, Movies and Music constantly glorify negative things and the kids are picking it up.
I don't know if you guys read the article or not in the Toronto Star, but they correlated crime rates to when we started to recieve the BET Music Channel and since it's been released in Toronto, the crime rate has increased significantly. It was an independent study from some Communications PhD or something.
