Well I just bought a box of 23g 1" pins and an additional dozen syringes 21g for drawing, yesterday. When is this new law take effect? All I had to do is fill out a sheet. Was it for slin pins?

so you can still buy slin w/out a script, but not the pins? This must be on a state legislature level.

so rediculous, you realize this will actually lead to more problems then intended. old people are passing....the strictess laws. how about they throw some attention into child abuse, or crack heads breaking into people's houses, or better yet, gangs.
not going to say much because i know its been beatin to death, but [sarcasm]lets attack the guys who don't bother any living thing, and keep to themselves.[/sarcasm] honest to God i don't see how we're hurting anyone. at. all.

You cant do anything in Californai anumore. OH of course it's all Bush's fault. lol Just try being a pyrotechnician the system treats us like terrorist. We are heros putting up public displays for little money risking our lives and taking it in the rear but the firemarshal or port authority or anyone with a bage. Oh yeah now they want to take sport fishing off the coast away. Freaking liberals the are really making me mad.

Tell me how ya really feel!
I agree with you. I wouldnt want to move to Cali for the simple fact that thats there's many different laws as opposed to wisconsin, or illinois. Plus the cost of living is much more expensive from what i hear.

Agreed.. Bush doesent have much to do with your state legislature... and i do agree that passing laws restricting pins is counterproductive

Anyone can buy syringes legally in all 50 states at Farm Supply stores.
In most states Pharmacies cannot sell syringes for human use without a prescription, however anyone can buy syringes at farm supply stores for use on livestock and other farm animals.
The syringes produced for veterinarian use are made to the exact same standards as the ones used for human use.
Also, most cities have distribution centers that hand out syringes to drug users.

Here you can just go to a farm and tractor store and buy them. They never ask. All the stuff they sell at a vet store is the same as for humans. When they make the whole syringe and pin set up, it just gets pulled off the same line. Thats how I go at least.

She gave you 18g x 1” pins? That should not have hurt that much, that is a relatively small size especially for use on pigs.
Also, tell them specifically what sized needle and pins you are looking for and don't worry about their questions. It's none of their business.
If you must, tell them that your dog had puppies a few weeks ago and you need to give them their 7-in-1 first puppy shots.
You could also say they are for your puppies' 4 month parvo shots.Last edited by cmax; 02-12-2006 at 07:08 PM.
