Iranian Leader Urges More Papal Protests
CAIRO, Egypt - Al-Qaida in Iraq warned Pope Benedict XVI on Monday that its war against Christianity and the West will go on until Islam takes over the world, and Iran's supreme leader called for more protests over the pontiff's remarks on Islam.

Now they're fighting Jews AND Christians?
These lunatics have some cards they aren't showing, I really, really, REALLY hope there is more to this war than my God is better than your God.

Well after you boil down all the geopolitical pontificating it pretty much does come down to that. All the world will be Islamic or die....nuff said?
In before the lock.....again

No IRA suicide bombs...suicide is a Mortal Sin, thats get you on the Express Lane to Hell. Make no mistake though, this has been, is now, and will be nothing more than a Holy War. Islam has not tried to disguise it...they call it what it is. It is the West that either refuses to believe, is afraid to believe, or won't admit this is all about religion...at the grass roots level.

I know. It's hard too understand how this sticks. It can be somewhat understandable in places like Somilia, or Afganistan where they currently live in about the 7th Centuary. But in Egypt, Saudi, Iran, and even the US, Canada, France, Britian, etc...where there is not the rampant poverty, unemployment, poor living conditions they still latch onto this hate. So I don't think it has much to do with economics, it is a religion based hate that is taught.
There needs to be more open and honest discussion about the basis of Islam, rather than the apologists constantly saying Islam has been hijacked...I say BS. I say the teachings of hatred are there, and have always been there and are accepted by the vast multitude of "believers". I equate it akin to Nazi Germany. The membership in the Nazi party, the true believers, was small in comparison to the total population of Germany. The rest of the population while not members of the party per se, either turned a blind eye and feigned ignorance of what was going on with the Jews, gypsies, slavs, etc..or gave their tacit approval by their inaction. There will be those that will say the German people could not voice opposition for fear of reprisals...this was not true early on, and even during the war, Hitler was very popular.
Thats my short take on it...now I'll wait for the inevitable lock thats coming.
