Talk about a coincedence, they rule down the death penalty for child rape then rule down a ban on guns. hahaha

As if they are trying to protect civil liberties. Just the simple fact that they even had to discuss a potential gun ban shows this country is being picked at and destroyed from within.

It wasn't a potential gun ban, it was a very real one. Handguns have been banned in DC for a long time-- until now!

Washington D.C. outlawed handguns 32 years ago. The city also had a requirement that legally owned firearms be equiped with a trigger lock or kept disassembled (so much for self defense).

In a narrow 5-4 ruling, The U.S. Supreme Court overturned both laws because they vioated the second amendment.

Thank GOD Samuel Alito & John Roberts were nominated to the bench. If two liberal judges were sitting in their place we would no longer have a second amendment, and we would see the start of the second civil war.

The second amendment says that because "a well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." The court ruled today that this does not limit gun ownership to service in a militia.
