News & Current Events from Iran's perspective
http://www.presstv.ir/default.aspx
Above is the link to Iran's official news, written in English. How much of it is propaganda, and how much of it accurately represents reality, I don't know, but I'd venture a guess that it's not that much different than US news outlets.
US news outlets are mostly owned by giant multi-national corporations, obligated to make a profit for their shareholders, and undoubtedly report the news in a way that will entertain viewers and not offend the owners or upper management, and not rile US government regulators. They are not above taking US government $$$ to broadcast and print outright propaganda

Iranian news outlets are undoubtedly propaganda outlets since they are owned by the government. Nevertheless, they make interesting reading/viewing, because sometimes they report things the US outlets won't mention (for whatever reasons), and provide a different viewpoint on current events.
So, just like any news source, take what they say with a grain of salt . . .Last edited by Tock; 07-04-2008 at 08:30 PM.
