ye i play halo3 and i find that 1o year olds are better than me how does that my reactions are good im not old im 23 just find it strange

^Right. I think the study should've taken other factors into consideration (hand eye coordination, depth perception), and not just brain size.
I think I'm a fairly intelligent guy, but I played Call of Duty with my 12 year old Nephew over Christmas, and he kicked my ass!
True, he's played it much, much more than me (it was my first time playing it), but even after playing it for a while, I was just horrible at it.

Yes there are other factors that is just one of the factors...someone can be genetically gifted in sports but never end up playing them or ok at sport and play them all the time and be better then someone who is athletic but has not played sports every often.

Bottom for me is: It just pisses me off that my 12 year old nephew kicks my ass at video games, lol.

They play way too much which makes them much better. It was the same when I was a kid going against adults.

I myself pwn pretty hard at MW2...but thats besides the point.
I was watching this documentary on video gaming in South Korea...apparently it's a national sport over there. Anyway, the star "athletes" of this sport are retired by 22-23 because they start getting to slow to compete around that age.

That is an interesting fact in itself.
My daughter goes into Best Buy with me to buy a new camera.
I know nothing about cameras.
She picks them all up, and starts using them without any directions.
I ask how can you use those so fast?
She says, I don't know, I just can.
She's 16-1/2.
Anyways, I bought a Sony on sale for 200.00 bucks.
She picked it out.
Best

It's like anything else, those with genetic factors favouring video game skills like hand eye coordination etc are better at it.
