Serbia Recognizes Jerusalem As Israel’s Capital
Unless you've been alive long enough to remember the last time the Arabs tried to exterminate the Israelis, you might not understand what a big deal this is. What has happened in just the last couple of years in the Middle East -- beginning with America's recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel (Dec. 6, 2017) -- shows more promise of reduced hostility between Israel and its neighbors than anything I have seen in my lifetime.
In August the United Arab Emirates (Dubai & Abu Dhabi) announced a normalization of relationships with Israel (brokered by Trump). Then Saudi Arabia granted overflight rights to commercial airline flights connecting Israel and the UAE. Now this.
Granted, Serbia and the UAE are 'small fish,' but at lease that's two more countries that have an interest in seeing Israel remain at peace with its neighbors.
Serbia Recognizes Jerusalem As Israel’s Capital, Israel Recognizes Kosovo, As Part Of Kosovo-Serbia Deal On ‘Normalization of Relations’
by Tsarizm Staff September 4, 20200120
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that Serbia has recognized Jerusalem as the country’s capital and will soon move its embassy there. Israel will also establish ties with Kosovo, Haaretz has reported.
It comes immediately after Kosovo and Serbia signed an agreement brokered by President Donald Trump at the White House.
This is the first known result of the deal, whose content remains unknown.
Netanyahu thanked Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic for the “decision to recognize Israel as the capital of Israel and to transfer to it his country’s embassy.”

Serbia is waffling about moving their embassy to Jerusalem but Kosovo opened their embassy in Jerusalem this past Sunday, 14 March.
Which I am happy yo see because nations showing open support for Israel should be good for the stability in the region.
The government of Kosovo pledged to open its embassy in Jerusalem last September, in exchange for Israel recognizing the country. It came as part of commitments taken on by leaders of Kosovo and Serbia at the White House to normalize economic relations, under the push and facilitation of President Trump’s administration.
Serbia committed to move its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem but may review its pledge.
Kosovo’s decision to open an embassy in Jerusalem was criticized by the European Union, calling it “an unfortunate decision”. Turkey and the Arab League also opposed the decision, calling on Kosovo to reverse it.
