Doc is checking out blood work...Need advice fast
I have been investigating my first cycle on this site for a couple of months now. I finally got all my gear together, went to the doc to get some intial blood work done, and.... guess what he found that my free test was a little low, my thyroid-inducing hormone was high. So he wanted to run some additional tests. I'm pretty sure he is going to suggest "something" to help boost my free test and maybe look into my thyroid situation at my next visit. Here the questions....Can anyone give me an idea of what path he go? Should I wait to start my cycle? (my guess is yes) And is there any chance that I might want to run my cycle concurrent with whatever therapy the doc will prescribe?
Here is the cycle I was preparing to start: (same beginner cycle you seem posted all the time)
wk 1-10 Test E 300mg/wk
wk 1-15 Nolvadex 20mg ED
wk 12-15 Clomid (as prescribed in PCT post)
BTW, I'm 37 yrs. old
Also, I'd like some feedback from anyone whose been in this position and may have input on helping me steer my doc onto a "bodybuilding-friendly" course.

I had the same experience; your going to have issues and questions I assure you! First; he will likely prescribe either androgel ( a patch) or shots; the dosage will be a "therapeutic" dose but not on a level used for mass or bb; second he WILL monitor blood levels pretty closely making use of outside test or gear problomatical unless you really know what your doing. third he may also prescribe growth hormone (this is good). Thyroid (will prescibe something)

Try to persuade him to prescribe test injections (although this would probably be in his office). As for running it together, it will be additive so you might want to consider that, although at the levels for normal HRT I don't think you'll experience major problems.

Don't do the androgel . A doctor presribed it to a friend of mine. The only thing that happened is that it shut down his natural test level. Do the math, a patch only releases a few milligrams a day. Oh, my friend is 43.

If you can get your own test just tell the doc to give you some levitra that you don't have time from your busy schedule at work to come by for your injections and you feel fine . Unless your having probs with not being able to put on the extra weight or having some other problem it's nothing wrong with having somewhat of an active thyroid . Your doc will only prescibe maybe 100mg eow and as you know you need much more for bb purposes . If you decide to let him do the test therapy you'll have to use test propionate and make sure that you stop your cycle of prop. 2 weeks before your next bloodwork. This will allow your levels to be as he left them . AS far as adding equipoise ,Deca tren , they will supress your levels so he will not be able to detect them . Hope this helps ! Good luck !

One thing too is don't let your doctor decide what's best for you, it's YOUR decision. If you want to put off further tests til after you've recovered from your cycle just don't schedule an appt til then. You don't owe the doc any reasons if you ask me -it's your body not his.

Here's the latest bros, the doc decide my free test was high enough he didn't want to do TRT. Which was probably best since I wanted to start my test enth anyway. He did put me on Synthroid at 25mcg/per day because my TSH was high. I can feel the difference with that already.
I did my first shot of test last Thurs. and have also started 20 mg of nolva/per day as well.
I'll need to monitor my blood pressure as it is always in the borderline high range anyway and have read AAS only makes it higher.
Anyone see a conflict with the Synthroid and AAS?

Synthroid and AAS should not be a problem. Be watchful of your blood pressure, although if it does get elevated while on your cycle, it should return to normal after you are through. Let me know if you have any other questions.
