Anyone have elbo or heel spurs?

Have any of you had treatment for them? What can you do to help get rid of them. Had an elbow x ray, i have spurs in my elbow. Killin my workouts. Would you see a bone doctor for this. I ll do my research but if anyone has any experience with this, some advise will be helpful, Thanks.

Visit an orthopedic. Depending on the size of the spurs, the doctor may recommend doing a scope. Shaving them down will help. If you leave them in there, they could become bone fragments (loose bodies).

I'm sure that you're getting some locking of the elbow joint now, and the fragments will make that happen more often. It's part of the injury. You can live with it, but your workouts will suffer some. The thing with spurs is that the bone doesn't totally heal, no matter what you have done. It could be a chronic problem. Not trying to scare you, just pass on some info.

I have heel spurs from playing basketball and they are painful. Ice, massage, stretching, orthos, whirl pool, and jacuzzi all help.
