    Need to have shoulder surgery

    Hey guys I havent posted in a while I need to have shoulder surgery and will prob. have it towards the end of oct. or in nov. it is called humeral head resurfacing just wondering if anyone has had this and how it went and were you able to workout afterwards. thanks

    cant really give you any direct insight on this but i have a replaced hip as of almost 7 years ago,i can tell you that the number 1 thing with any surgery is to make sure you have a top notch surgeon. I no longer bang out heavy sets of squats,leg presses or deads,i do them but with light wt the days of 500 # is over for me. Discuss every issue with your doc,i would think you still be able to workout but might have to drop some movements and/or lower the wt used. Goodluck to you and work hard in your rehab.

    Before you do just to give it a shot get some DMSO and use it. I have been using it for a few weeks and it feels better than it has in months and yes the doc wanted to do surgery on me also.
